For all those that have always thought he was such a WONDERFUL vet, which many of us in the business of dogs and cats know better, has been arrested. He was extradited from TN. His ex wife filed charges on behalf of her minor son, for sexual misconduct. He will be appearing in Taney County court this Monday, August 27th, 10:30am, in a CRIMINAL setting court. He is in custody of the state Marshall and state police. He is in house arrest, and is allowed to go to his office to take care of any last minute details.

Hello Karma - aka Judge, Jury and Executioner!!
Due Process! Innocent until proven guilty!!! This whole thing sounds like a Jerry Springer show!! A little research on this matter shows that the "ex-wife" has been falsely accusing Dr. Cone for years, and the Courts have ruled in HIS favor.."The trial court found mother’s allegations of sexual
abuse to be unfounded, and the evidence does not preponderate against the trial court’s
determination. We find no error in the trial court’s modification of the primary residential
parent or in its denial of mother’s requests for post-judgment relief. We therefore affirm." - Tennessee Court of Appeals...
and...Dr. Cone is an AWESOME vet!!!!

"...Mother portrays her behaviors and motivations in a very positive light. She appears to lack insight into the strong feelings and motivations that are driving her behavior in casting Will Cone as a child abuser and unfit parent. She has
become obsessed and fixated upon her negative campaign to denigrate Dr.Cone, regardless of the negative impact her behavior is having upon her son
and her son’s relationship with his father. She evidences narcissistic personality traits, with a strong sense of entitlement, a willingness to exploit others to achieve her own ends, and a lack of empathy or ability to recognize or identify the feelings and needs of others with whom she is in a relationship. Her defensive style is marked by projection, that is, rather than correctly
understanding the feelings and motivations of others, she inaccurately perceives others to be acting out the negative feelings that she in fact
possesses, including anger, hatred, and entitlement." IN THE COURT OF APPEALS OF TENNESSEE
AT NASHVILLE February 4, 2010 Session
WILLIAM CAMERON CONE v. GEORGIA ELISE DUNN CONE
Appeal from the Circuit Court for Robertson County
No. 10443 Ross H. Hicks, Judge No. M2008-02303-COA-R3-CV - Filed April 29, 2010.

Dr. Cone was arrested based on evidence obtained by THE FBI...not on his ex wife's claims. AND the judge who refused to accept evidence from 11 people who testified that the abuse was true, has recused himself.
and has shown himself over the years to be extremely prejudicial against Ms. Dunn.
Hopefully now the child will be safe.

additionally, The father's father, Dr. William Cone, Sr., was sentenced to 133 years for sexual assault of his psychiatric patients in 1998. and the current Dr. Cone has admitted to sexual addiction to pornography, as well as his own abuse as a child.
For a pediatrician to make such serious charges against ANYONE, then the charges MUST be taken seriously. It was not just the crazy claims of a mother.
Too bad the judge was so prejudiced against the mother, for reasons unknown.
Again, hopefully the child will have a chance now.

Let's see: we have the FBI filing charges, the judge recusing himself, the grandfather's imprisonment for sexual assault of his psychiatric patients (deviant behavior if you read the case), Dr. Cone's admission to sexual addiction and his own abuse as a child, the bruising reported by the pediatrician, and the 11 DCS investigators who testified that the child had been sexually abused by Dr. Cone. Is Dr. Cone the victim of a vast conspiracy? Or did he just have a really good lawyer for the initial case?

I think this poor little boy has been failed by the justice system, and I hope it is now turning around for him and he will be safe.

As for the earlier posts condemning the mother, if it were my child that I thought was being sodomized (see the I team investigation by WSMV Nashville), I wouldn't stop trying to get help for my child no matter what anyone thought of me. Good for her.

Dr. William C. Cone is my uncle and a wonderful man. These accusations are nothing short of sick and disturbing. My cousin is a wonderful boy; a happy boy. A boy with an impressive set of manners and a wonderfully kind and empathetic demeanor. Think whatever it is that you like but know that this is a very stressful situation for my entire family, especially my uncle Will. Also know that his ex-wife is an incredibly toxic human being who has done nothing but disturb my uncle, his family and their son. You all know nothing.

Well, studies show that family members abuse other family members more so than strangers, and the family never knows about it. This could be the case here, cousin.
Now..if you all notice? Casenet no longer has his court reports listed. How does that HAPPEN? Once its on casenet, its NEVER removed....politics?

He has butchered several dogs....he never tested a friends dog's lump, did a $600 surgery, only for it to come back with a vengeance. Went to O'Dell, he asked if the other vet aspirated it? NO! He then did that and found out it was a very rapidly growing form of cancer, and when messed with, it grows at a VERY alarming rate...her dog could have lived a LOT longer if he had done his job right...

So regardless of the accusations, there is a lot more about Cone than people know...please, people...don't ever use him as a vet..he's all about the money...

The feds don't act on a whim or vendetta when it comes to protecting children. The Cone family history is tragic on so many levels. Maybe the cycle will be broken when another monster is dealt with and the victim child gets the help and protection every child deserves.

Dr. Cone has been my vet for all of my pets for many years. He has always provided excellent and compassionate care. I am sure that every vet clinic has "horror" stories just like every hospital or doctor does (My Aunt Gertie went in healthy and never came out - don't go there!), just like every dentist does (My Aunt Gertie lost all her teeth but it turns out they were all healthy - don't go there!), just like every hair salon does (OMG - did you see what Salon X did to Aunt Gertie's hair - don't ever go there!), just like every school does (Aunt Gertie never graduated from School X because the teachers there are all sub par, EVERYONE knows that - don't go there!), just like very restaurant does (My Aunt Gertie got the worst case of food poisoning ever from Cafe X - don't go there! blah blah friggin' blah...

I don't mean this sarcastically, but everyone thought Jerry Sandusky was a wonderful man, also. Sandusky abused young boys for years and was very skillful at hiding it from others.. I'm sure his family members don't believe it either and never will no matter how much evidence is presented. I have a family member who is a convicted child molester. He even admitted to it. If you met him, you would think he is a great guy. His mother still denies it and blames it in the 10 year old victim for "making it up".

Let's suppose you are correct and the ex-wife is toxic. The FBI wouldn't perform an investigation nor would charges be filed just based on toxic allegations, would they? No...of course not....there must be evidence.

I am truly sorry for your family, but the focus needs to be on the safety of the little boy, not our personal opinion of either parent. It will be very interesting to hear what evidence the FBI has and whether it will change anyone's preconceived opinion. Fortunately, family and friends' opinions don't matter in a court of law.

In the case of Jerry Sandusky, PLENTY of people knew about him and his activities but chose to look the other way in favor of not mucking up Penn State athletics...

True, among his peers. But the parents of the children didn't know for a very long time, but then they reported it. His (Sandusky's) wife vehemently denies knowing anything. My point is, family will more often than not defend family no matter how much evidence there is. People get murdered, kids get molested... horrible crimes get committed all the time, but no one every wants to believe it is someone they know (or thought they knew) and love. I wonder if Dr. Cone's nephew thinks his great uncle was falsely imprisoned for his sexually deviant crimes? Were the patients that testified against him simply "toxic" people? In that court case, the stepson of Dr. Cone Sr. was involved in a threesome with one of his psychiatric patients. They would be Dr.Cone's stepbrother. Wonder what he thinks of all this?

What a pervert! Dr. Cone, time to go away and join Dr. Reynolds for being such a perverted professional...How could any one admit to having a porn addition while being investigated to molesting a child, your own child at that! Sick, sick, sick!!!

Might need to try moving to another state where your name isn't so well known!

What a sad world it is !

The truth always comes out eventually....I know personally in the dog profession, he has butchered several dogs...one dog of a prominent doctor in the community broke her leg, and instead of fixing is ASAP, he left her for nearly a week, then it was too late, and had to amputate the poor dog's front leg. As of recent, he has started a different form of neutering, where an incision is cut down the front of the penis area...back to where the testicles are to remove the testicles. Several of these have been performed, all resulting in infections.

You can find the transcripts online, where you can see where he has admitted to his porn addiction, among other things....and like Justice said, "The feds don't act on a whim or vendetta when it comes to protecting children."

Update: Will Cone is going on trial in TN later this year. He is under a 250k bond, conditioned on having no contact with the victim. He has an excellent legal team so if he is convicted, you can bet that the evidence is there.

This is all very disturbing indeed. I guess I mind my own business because this is the first I've heard of all this. I have used Dr Cone for years and my dogs have all adored him. I do as well. His office is always busy and I will wait to see HIM when it is possible. I will always remember him shedding tears WITH me when we had to say goodby to two of my shih-tzu babies. And NO - he did NOT cause their illnesses or deaths. I will continue to use him and choose to let him and his family and legal team address any and all legal issues. "Time always tells" all and Dr. Cone has my support. I hope this has all been cleared up for all involved - his professionalism through all of this mess has been exemplary as I never sensed his personal problems when he treated my pets.
Personally - I have been on the sad end of rumors, hard feelings and hatefulness. A person always remembers those who continue to show love and support. And we always find out who our true friends are during those times.
Kudos to the staff and the doctors at this clinic for doing their jobs during such stress.
I have an appt Monday with Dr. Cone and I will give him an extra hug "just because".
Those of you out there who feel differently - so be it. But I'd be careful about throwing that first stone!! We ALL have skeletons. And I am not ashamed to sign my name...
