WHEN WILL KIRBY RESIDENTS KNOW IF KIRBY OFFICERS CAN BE MORE PRECAUTION DURING A "DWI" STOP IS THERE ANY TRAINING BEFORE PULLING THERE WEAPON LIKE THE SAPD ARE DOING NOW BEFORE CALLING ARE FELLOW OFFICER'S A HERO AND PREVENT A LIFE FROM BEING TAKEN

so wats goi to happen are there gonna be any special training or wat man if the officers don't start doing there job right what's gonna happen out here in these streets officer's need to stop aproaching citizens instead of wanting to attack u then feel that there in danger thats the same thing they always say i dont have anything against them but they sould handle situations in a better way because now citizens are fearing that a cop is going to take there life away

what ever happen to that case when tha kirby cop took that man's life away did he shoot him before or after poeple need answers its going to be almost 11 months and he still out here working how do we know if he'll go to far again because he didn't have to shoot the guy i dont think the city of kirby gets my point residents need to watch out for these so called peace officer's look whats going on with the boys in blue that people always back them up there the one's that need to also be watched because you will never know when it's your time

Ok, first of all you may want to have a small child proof read your post before hitting send because they may be able to help you with your grammar....
Second of all, I did not see anything on the news about the partier’s downtown trying to kill any police officers.(Like your good buddy, God rest his soul...) As a matter of fact, I bet they were glad to have competent, able bodied Officers working to keep them and their children safe downtown while they were able to party and have a good time. And you know why? Because that is an Officers job. To keep the public safe, even people like you Jimmy, who sympathize with the bad guy. An Officer would lay his life on the line to protect even you.
No one wanted what happened to happen. Like I have said before, it was a tragedy... For all involved.
And by the way, I did go to market square and party with crowds, then I rode home with someone who had not been drinking. Because it is illegal to drink and drive and even more ill eagle to drink, drive, and drag a cop....

[The right stuff]

The Officer in question was no-billed (cleared) in the shooting. I feel that he did the right thing and in case if any of you guys are interested there have been several shooting that involved Officers that where in the same situation that this Officer was in and each one survived. If anything I feel that this situation lead to these other Officers making it home that day. I truly feel that the Officer is remorseful but not sorry for what he had to do and not wanted to do (he just wanted to take him to jail and he would still be alive if he let that happen). You people (and I mean citizens) take for granted the job that these Officers do on a daily basis and are so quick to criticize when you don't know all the facts. I hope you remember this the next you need a police officer.
