Not that anyone cares but in my opinion this drug bust isn't something to be happy about. It's sad that our children are being affected by drugs. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from it can and most likely will affect someone in your family. Never say that it will never happen to you because you are sadly mistaken. Lets just hope that some if not all of these folks learn form their mistakes. The only people to blame are the ones who chose to,sell drugs. Now all we can do, is pray they get the help they need. These are people's children, brothers, sister, mothers, fathers. Someone loves them. They don't need to read the name calling , the hate, they need support. You never know what others are going through. Addiction is a horrible thing. We need more resources for help. It's nearly impossible for anyone to get rehab if they want it. God bless all involved. May they see the light of God shining down on them in their times of trouble.

can you please explain your evolutionary theory and why you feel we originally developed from bacteria? If you can convince me that's not delusional I will help you start up a church and we can preach Darwinism.

I've always heard, that *most* addiction is genetics.. So your god made them that way... & being omniscient & benevolent why would he let that happen? But I know we will hear, his way isn't are way & we will pray for them.. Which again is dumb..
If he already knows the outcome, why pray?
If he has a plan, why pray?
According to the religious, he's a perfect being, then why would a simple mortal change his mind? Praying is ineffective & a waste of time..

But back to the addiction part, http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/addict...
That is a pretty good insight into addiction.... By people who devote a good portion of their life studying.. But I do wonder, with all of these small towns with huge drug problems, is that all genes??

exactly my point. Think you know lots about God but can't even explain your own belief. Good call. Lets not call it evolution then, lets just call it anti God. That's all I hear you have to explain your views. If you ever need someone to talk to, buy a monkey that just didn't fully evolve into your ancestor. It may b able to explain your family tree.

My favorite.... "Prove that god doesn't exist".

Wouldn't it be on the person making the claim the a benevolent being does exist & why we should follow it??
But no, proving a negative is more logical to religious people..

Even if it is an impossible task....

lmmfao. his hell will be a walk in the park then compared to yours. There's just one thing your forgetting. Everyone gets a chance to make their own choice. There is consequences however while you're on earth. What happened to old Jeffery in the end on this earth anyway?

Take a moment to think about the context in which your next decision will occur: You did not pick your parents or the time and place of your birth. You didn't choose your gender or most of your life experiences. You had no control whatsoever over your genome or the development of your brain. And now your brain is making choices on the basis of preferences and beliefs that have been hammered into it over a lifetime - by your genes, your physical development since the moment you were conceived, and the interactions you have had with other people, events, and ideas. Where is the freedom in this? Yes, you are free to do what you want even now. But where did your desires come from?

Addiction (according to addiction specialists) is most always genetic... Addicts have a specific gene that makes them more susceptible to addiction.... But I would think, with the amount of alcoholics & addicts in this area, are they all genetically predisposed or, is it a sign of the old adage of its all relative around here?

Wow....religion is a touchy subject..but it's no one's business what you believe or what I believe or even what the neighbor believes two houses down. As long as no one's getting hurt in the process. This is why we have right s. But the drug problem is a serious issue epidemic more like it.I am a recovering addict....born into a family of addicts but there's still people out the're that have no trace of addicts in there family and still become an addict..very complicated...but we do need to be building more rehabilitation center s instead of so many prisons..my opinion..Thanks

You're a joke. I'm embarrassed for you that something so stupid could come out of someone's mouth.
