Humble Emergency Operations Center open and ready

The City of Humble Emergency Operations Center opened this morning at 7:30 a.m. as did the local Community Response Task Force Incident Command Center.

My Mom and Sister are somewhere in Humble Tx, However I have not heard from them. Can anyone hellp me get a call from them. Some street just south of Timber Forest, first street to the left on Flax Brackston(miss spelled probably)

Hey. My Sister and her family live in Humble too and I haven't heard from them. Has anyone heard how they faired the storm? They live in Walden on Lake Houston Country Club. Do they have power?

My sister also live in Humble in Waldern Forest Drive. I'm worried about her. Do they have telephone lines and electricity already? Please reply as soon as you have news. Thank you and God bless.

I just spoke with my sister who lives in huffman about one mile from the lake. She said that trees were down and the power has been out since yesterday. They are fine but there were no trees close to their house. Her landline phone doesn't work but she has been able to make a few calls from her cell phone.

I am not there but heard from my husband who stayed in our home in the Walden on Lake Houston. He lost power on Friday night but said that for our part of the district the damage was severe. Lots of downed trees but no flood waters. Hope that helps.

My son, wife, and baby are in Humble and need assistance.

Humble has no electricity and got slammed pretty good. My son, wife, and baby are there. Supposely the RED CROSS OPENED A center there, but I am unable to find the address it was opened. If anyone knows let me know. Lynda

I text with my sister in Humble around 10am Sunday, text messages still working voice cell phones are sporadic at best, power is out, but they did fair much better than Houston.

I have an Uncle and Aunt in Humble on Foxway Lane. They are quite elderly and I am worried aobut how badly their neighborhood was hit. Hopefully they were able to get out of town or at least to a shelter. Please reply if you have news of that area. Thanks

Is your aunt Lena ? I know her, I'm sure she is fine. No phones are working in the area and they are without electricity.

I just spoke to my friend yesterday who lives in Humble and they are ok. Everyone is out of power; food is defrosting in the freezer; some people had trees fall on their houses; they are worried about being able to put gasoline in their generators and having clean water. It is very scary. Some houses were hit a lot harder than what happened to them. Phone lines are down. Try texting your friends and family.
