And Stevie, I had gotten packed on in school too for not being up to date with the clothes or ha a phone or bad ass car or money in particular and cause I was part of the minority. I know how it feels so I am sticking up for my children!!

People like you are the problem in today's society. You're too litigious and ready to sue at the drop of a hat. It's always other peoples fault.

You're an idiot. What I said was that kids don't need phones "in school". Apparently the kid had it out at school because it was taken from him/her and stepped on and thrown in the toilet. I never said that no kid should ever carry a phone. If a child is dumb enough to pull it out while at school, and bullies take it......it's that kids fault, not the bully's fault.
If someone forcibly takes something from someone else and destroys it - then that is ILLEGAL! What if went to your HOUSE and took it from you and burned it down?

I, too, am white and I got picked on all through school here in Kingsville. Hell, even as a professional there are still people who try to knock me down because I'm white. I really don't give a fcku because in the end we all die. I'll just choose to be happy and loving instead of unhappy and hateful.

You could try and do that, but the more probable outcome would be you laying on my front lawn with lead poisoning. If you're man enough to try......I'll tell you were I live. Deal?

It wasn't my kid that used a phone. I'm replying to your idiotic response about blamin everyone else.
The point was not the kid bringing the phone to school, adults take their phones to work. Does that mean that its ok for some ahole to go and knock the phone out of your hands and destroy it. The answer is no!!!! Bullying is bullying!!!!!! Phone or no phone!:/

So you deny that we have become a "blame anyone else" society? It all started when that old bag sued McDonalds and won.
Are you also saying that the kid who had the phone out at school bears no responsibility for having it were the bullies could have gotten to it in the first place? You're naive if you think otherwise.

No one has the right to harm anyone at any time period. Aggresive children are either seeing this type of behavior at homme or are being treated badly at home by someone else.

You are the one who is na´ve. Do you blame a rape victim cause she was dressed in provacative clothes, do you blame a battered wife cause she burned dinner, what the hell are you thinking? Its ok to bully someone cause they have a phone? No one has the right to bully someone else, period. If it wasn't a phone it would have been a pencil, or a notebook. I'm sure the phone didn't provoke the bullies to bully. There is no excuse for bullying . And no blame on the victim for being bullied. Idiot!

Or their parents don't have the balls to raise their children with discipline and enable their child to run around acting like an a hole with no consequences. That is what is wrong with society today, no one wants to take responsibilty only point the finger at the victim for calling help and saying that they just want to put the blame on others! Pitiful!

You're not only naive, you're a bleeding heart idiot who fails to see how some part of the blame should be on the kid for having the phone in the first place. By that, I don't mean for just having the phone, but for having it out so that the bullies can do what they did to it.
You're the type who is so full of yourself that you refuse to see anybody else's side but yours.
As far as your examples, let me put it this way: If a lady is in a bad neighborhood and intoxicated at 3 in the morning....your saying that she bears no responsibility at all? Every situation can be avoided if most victims didn't make bad decisions.
You will never be a truly good example to others if you can't take a step back and see BOTH sides of each situation. I actually do not condone bullying, but I'm not so blinded by my distaste for them that I can't see fault in the victim.......and vise versa.

It never said the child had the phone out. That is where you are assuming.... I can look at both sides but in this case I don't think the bullies have a side. There is no excuse for bullying. I think the parent wasn't as concerned about what happened to the phone but the bullying the child had to endure. They could have stolen the phone out of a backpack or a purse. The children are allowed to have a phone in school as long as they are not using it. So maybe you are just too quick to blame the victim in this case. You are probably one of those heartless people that sees a news story about a kid who kills himself cause of bullying and says "well what did the kid do to provoke the bullying?". You sound like a jack as*! The point of this post was about bullying not about phones! What don't you get moron?

Ok monkey, you wrote, "They could have stolen the phone out of a backpack or a purse.". Now who is assuming? That's right, you can say it.....we all know the answer......YOU.
There are two sides to every story. Sometimes, there are even Three sides. The victim's side, the bully's side and The Truth. I do not always take the bully's side, but with so many Idiots who rush to the victim's side, someone has to look at it from another perspective.
Why is it that you can't do that? It's probably because you're too full of hate and annimosity toward bullies. I don't know if it is because you were bullied or what, but you need to pull your head out of your butt and see the world for what it is. It isn't black and white. You just make yourself sound really ignorant by not being able to admit that you're incapable of looking at this from any side but yours.
Look, I'm done arguing with you, it's like trying to argue with a wall. Have a nice life defending every victim you see or read about before you know the whole story.

So what's the whole story smart as*? I didn't assume I said that is was a possibility. I think its YOU that doesn't like to be told that you are wrong. If you think its ok to bully people around then I think you really have problems. Sounds like you are a bully yourself. I don't like bullies and I will stick to my statement that there is no excuse to bully someone else. Period. So put that in your crack pipe and smoke it loser!

What is your middle school child doing with a phone in school? Don't tell me that he or she doesn't use it during school hours because if that were true, the other kids couldn't have taken it or known about it.
