We need to get to the bottom of this. How do go that far to keep our inmates in there safe and to put these so called guards out of this prison. If it were your baby you would want to know it all. Lets get it together and get some shit done. Justice will be served.

POSTS FROM JIM HORTON FACEBOOK..from what i could see he plays alot of farmtown and mafia wars I am sure he has removed any comments that were supposedly made regarding the incident on AUG 17 2010. all should know that Internal Affairs keeps the look out for things of that nature and advised individuals to remove said things that could incriminate themselves and others. From what I have been told the local Nashville News channels have been advised of the incident however there has to be some type of inmate advocates in the area willing to help. The funeral for Jason Toll is Aug 23. I pray for peace for the family and friends and that peace will come when the HONEST TO GOD TRUTH COMES OUT.

Jim Horton What a GREAT week! Didn't need any bail money, didn't have to run from the cops, and didn't have any of those messy "hide the body" episodes!

Jim Horton I try to see things from your perspective but sadly enough I can't stick my head that far up my ass and I'm not about to either.

Jim Horton If you have a problem with me, write your grievance neatly and descriptively on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope, fold it up - and shove it up your ass.

Jason Toll does have a mother, a loving one whose heart is broken in two from losing her only child.
He was a son who loved his mother and now he has been taken from her in a way that is all wrong. Anyone who has any information , please post it.
Anything helps when you are trying to learn exactly what happened to this young man.

i know some members of his family and my prayers are with them. my husband is currently in carcerated at a different prison and thing like this make me worry. I think it is sad that they feel the need to do things like this to other human being. and this was uncalled for and i hope all the co"s get what they deserve so the family can get a piece of mind!!

Money, Money, Money.

Guards have low wage jobs with long hours on their feet listening to and treated like crap all day every day (that before you consider the dangerous aspect). Not a job I'd consider. I don't think IQ is a qualifications either.

I'm not support the guards or what they might have done. I'm pointing a finger at the system!

Darrell, some that work there know this happened. There is no reason that the news hadn't covered this yet. They should cover it! Just check the obituary for August 17th.

I guess I am questioning it. I understand he died and that is tragic but was he a violent offender? Is it possible he provoked them? What was he in prison for? It was maximun security so I am thinking something violent. I don't have much pity on violent/sexual offenders.

Just because they are in maximum security does not necessarily mean they are violent offenders. If you know the system Darrell as you seem to think you do then you would know that many inmates get maxed out for protection. And if he was a violent offender which I am not aware of, precautions should of been made. The guards/officers are there to protect staff and inmates, not beat them or taser them until their death. Most of the time the inmates are the ones that are provoked if you contastantly poke at a caged animal your bound to get bit. These guards/officers go above and beyond what is necessary in matters like these. Take a look at the recent charges of the officers pending sentencing for beating a CUFFED inmate in Northwest TN fortunely that man survived! All extractions are to be made with the introduction of all team members including medical staff on vidoe tape and the entire process recorded. The officer in charge has to receive prior authorization from the Warden to do said cell extration. The officer in charge is also the one that will carry and use a taser if needed. Prior to the use of the taser it must be cleared thru medical to ensure there are no cardiac issues that may contradict the use of a taser. The evidence that is being collected by the state will eventually become public record hopefully it will not be tampered with or destroyed. Everyone reading this knows how sick and twisted the correctional system is and how most all employees especially the higher ranking have their pockets lined. There are few honest employees due to the lack of pay and respect earned from their employer. This man Jason Toll was a human being he has a family he has left behind and they deserve to know the real truth in this matter!

Jaded, there are many reasons to be in maximum security. This man was not a violent person. He was a man with a mental illness that was left without medication and therapy which would have helped him. How do you provoke a prison guard to kill you? If you are in a cell, the guard has all
the power. He is safe from you. Max means confinement 23 hours a day, with no contact with others so where was the danger from him.He could not leave his cell without shackles. Where was the danger from him? It was late at night when he was killed, after lock down, so how could he have posed any threat??? From a steel box???? One tiny window??? Something smells to high heaven about this whole thing.

You won't because the state of Tennessee doesn't want it's dirty criminal secrets to get out.
