I hope the little girl that survived has been receiving counseling, best wishes to her. What a tragedy.

How sad for that poor child! What she must've seen, ugh. I hope that justice is served for her mother and sister, and he recieves the death penalty.

Why do I have the feeling his lawyer will argue "double jeopardy" in this case? I hope that the family gets justice for their loved ones, and this man gets the death penalty. He is subhuman do this to a mom and her daughter. He should have the same punishmet dealt out to him that he gave to this family.

Well, my son and I had just dropped my daughter off at a friends just off Lantana when an endless line of emergency vehicles went screaming by. Out of curiosity we drove to that church. As we pulled up it was a sceen that I will never forget. I still see that night as if it just happenned. I too hope that the little one is doing well and hope that justice will be served. God have mercy on them and God bless the families

I have a difficult time understanding why it should take so long to bring this man to trial and why there would be ANY question that he shouldn't be tried. I often wonder if the hope is that people will "forget" and allow the accused a more fair trial. What about the victim? How fair is it to them and their family. I hope this case is being handled properly so there is no question regarding the investigation so justice can and will be done! If it takes time for that - so be it.

I had the priviledge to meet the sister a few weeks ago. She is a beautiful little girl. She seems to be doing ok and has huge support from God, family and community.

Concerned Citizen- that's why it's best to STAY AWAY from scenes that emergency personnel are dispatched to. You might have seen something you wish you wouldn't have, not to mention gotten in the way of responding units. There are laws against ambulance chasers you know.

You got to be pretty sick to shoot a little girl, you got to be sick to shoot a mother in front of a little girl, you got to be sick to shoot anyone. He doesn't deserve a fair trial, he did it, he knows he did it, we know he did and the law knows he did it. The problem is he has a lawyer and evidently the idiot doesn't care that he did it.

You know, not to far from Crossville is a lovely little place called Hanging Limb, maybe someone needs to take him on a little road trip.
thank you

For your prayers and continuing to keep us in your thoughts.I would like to say thank you all. There was another hearing(i guess that is what it was suppose to be)last Friday in Putnam County. Family wasn't even allowed in the courtroom. I'm not sure what is going to happen but the family needs closure. I don't know why it is taking so long. Maybe all of the questions we have need to be asked LOUDER and somewhere that they will have to be answered!! Sometimes it seems like it's being swept under the rug. Do you hear anything about it on the news or even in your local paper? I for one will never forget and it is very comforting to know that there are people like you all out there that care so much and haven't forgotten either

Even defense attorneys will not embarrass themselves by displaying that level of ignorance of basic law. Double jeopardy means being brought to trial a second time after an acquittal, not a second grand jury indictment.
