I have known Russ for several years. He has restored 5 military jeeps for me. Not once did I ever have a problem or anything amiss with him. He made good the mistakes of his workers and did all the work expertly.
He was a walking encyclopedia for military vehicles and many relied on his expertise, including myself. Never have I met anyone who is such a wealth of knowledge on a given subject.
Over the years we became very good friends. I am proud to say he considered me as one of his best friends,,,by his own words. It is an honor for me to have had such a friend.
I know that Russ is in his eternal home now, without a care and it gives me great pleasure to have discussed our religion on many occasions. Russ knew the Lord and talked to him everyday, what more could be said of a "good man".

Russ was a great man, I met him when I was younger and very interested in WW2 history. He showed me around his museum and let me drive one of his jeeps, which was pretty damn fun for a young history nerd. His wife Gladys is very nice as well, I was glad to see her get the military show back up and running. He will be missed as a great asset to the community and a good man.
