I am sorry to see the school in such a bad condition. It svae my life. I was a resident from 1980 until 1982 and if it had not been for this school I truly believe I would be dead or in a worst condition than I am not. The school taught me that even with problems there are people who will love you through them and help you find your way out. I am trying to locate my schol records and because of the condition of this place I am having a difficult time furthering my education. I truly wish they had kept this place functioning.
you can get your records from red hook school district

My mom recently passed away, she took me here once. I want to go back and understand her life more. I know she went through foster care and a lot of shitty places, I just want to know if anyone remembers her or what her experience would have been at the time she attended. If anyone could help me I would be so grateful.

I am an historian living in Rhinebeck and I have become interested in the military academy which then became Holy Cross. I am interested in finding out why the academy closed and what life was like at Holy Cross. I understand that Holy Cross was closed by New York State and I would like to know why the state made that decision. Thank you.
So I lived there from 76-80 anything bout the cross would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Some of the thing Ive read suggests that the campus has been demolished. I this true. Ive wanted to go there and check it out. Im happy that a place like this existed to help so many of you become the people you are today.

It's crazy what happened to that place. I remember when I first got there. I thought I was going to hate it. I made friends there that I'll never forget. I wish I could get back out there, just to look around. I actually graduated from there. I remember most of my teachers too. I remember Rich teaching computers, and Gonyea teaching History. I remember the English teacher was married to the Art teacher. I don't remember their names though. We made wood burned clocks in Art class. We went and worked out with Rich, the staff from 2nd floor.
