This is bizarre. A 17 yr. old boy (16 at the time) had sexual relations with other boys and he's being persecuted for it? Why is one boy being charged and not the others, actually, why should any of them be charged with a felony (much less 3)? I guess I don't know the whole story but it just seems really messed up. He's a child for crying out loud! What he needs is probably some extensive, intense therapy......not to be treated as a criminal for engaging in sexual acts with other teenage boys. This story really bothers me. UGH!

I totally agree. This is just another example of the societal persecution that gays have to endure. Just because it's boys having sex with other boys we as a society have to freak out about it and not treat it as natural and normal love. We are really a sick bunch of people that we would react this way , even in the year 2009 when we should be more tolerant and open.

You, ma'am, have no insight into the cognitive pathologies of juvenile sex offenders. These acts were about power and control of a younger, more vulnerable youth in the facility. This was a matter of convienence for the offender, and has NOTHING to do with gender preferances or sexual orientation.
