Would it even matter if you knew someone who had been wrongfully arrested or do you think that the police don't make mistakes like that?
If you had a friend of yours in this situation would you even help ?
What exactly would you do in this situation?
How is something like thsi even happening intoday's "modern" world?

Im sure it happens all of the time....but more often then not the criminal claims wrongful arrest even though they and everyone else know they are guilty. And to me a friend is a friend...even though i know the statistics i would always give my friend the benefit of doubt until they give me reason to think otherwise...so if the person is a True Friend, always do what you can to help them out because they are so hard to find.

I don't know anybody who has ever been erroneously arrested for a major crime. If they had been and were truly innocent I would stand by them. Even if they were not innocent, depending on what they had done, they would still be my friend. There are some things that would cause me to sever frienship ties and that would be child abuse, child molestation, rape, elder abuse, etc. Things of a heinous nature. The police, most of the time, do the best they can. Do they make mistakes? Yes but it isn't often that the wrong person gets arrested for a major crime. We need to keep that in mind. Most of the time if you are truly innocent, the truth will prevail.

U mention Most of the time truth will prevail......so it's no biggie if someone is arrested wrongfully? Better yet you mention "serious" crimes but in this case it involves resisting and so called disorderly conduct. Would those charges not be important enough to fight for justice over?
Sadly, when a man gets arrested wrongfully and has a family it isn't just the man who suffers the consequences. How bout the fact that there becomes a lack for respect to authorities and it becomes difficult too continue to instruct your kids to do the right thing when the people behind it are a child molester, a former drunk that his own daughter chose to move in with a former step mother instead of deal with his bull.
How about there was actually a DVD proving there was never any resisting on the first arrest but yet the jury still found a verdict of guilty because I could not say anything about being disabled and my jackass lawyer didn't care to take the time to summons anyone to testify?

This arrest the officer claimed disorderly conduct while I was in my own yard from behind a six foot fence....lol.....prolly the reason it was thrown out I reckon but none the less in the mean time I had a need of a law enforcement officer but could not rely on them to do anything.......

Amazingly the DA is now saying this man positioned his body in a way that he could not be interrogated and all the while they end up letting a man in his 60's out of jail after serving from feb to nov for sexually abusing a 10-12 yr old....to say it is a slight error is an understatement. If they only would admit their fault and do something to correct it....

sad part of this whole thing is if you like me or not why can't you at least do justice for my family? I had a kid who was messed with by her own grandfather and the loser serves 8 months in county jail? meanwhile back at the ranch we continue to deal with idiot neighbors with no police help but yet we are to think we have a life of liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
