Does anyone remember Eric's Great Steaks in Peoria? If so does anyone remember the weird thing that the owner did concerning Christmas lights right before the place closed?

I don't know about Christmas lights, but I remember the owner apparently tied up his employees.

I worked there the spring and summer and fall of 84.
It was a strange group with.
Actually to honest probably the hardest job Iv ever worked in my life. I wa s the back up cook and prep chef. Which meanest I did all the cleanup at night and took over the grill when the day guys left at 8.
Tim Keith and Eric Goldberg, what a pair, driving mercedes and wearing rolexes paying their cook staff a buck over min- but it was better paying that the bus boy job at vonachan old place.
I worked with some cool people there just not the owner and main manager.
I still hav nightmares Im alone in the kitchen with a line of senior citizens out the door pissed about not getting free fries quick enough.
