Some Sullivan South Jerks

It's a real shame that after the Gate City people paid such a nice tribute to Jake on friday night, that some Sullivan South people had to be such jerks! They were rude, disrespectful and wore crude,nasty,vial t-shirts! Some said: "GC Suck this" with and arrow pointing down! How horrible! They were really mean to some middle school kids at the game that went to Gate city. It really gives the whole school a bad name when some there don't deserve it. I believe this is the first time south has come to GC to play football and after that, I wouldn't ask them back. Let's give credit where credit is due, they played some great football and beat a awesome team like GC but show a little class people.

Gate City is not an awesome team and after that beating, I would guess Gate City won't have them on the schedule anymore.

A lot of people have said that South people act so disrespectful at all the games. Gate city has enough history and titles under their belts to be called a great football team. Read the record books. As for inviting them back to play football, oh yea! inviting them back because of their conduct? no. Act like you have some sense. That was just uncalled for!

So you are surprised that a bunch of high school kids were acting up at a football game? That happens at every school and from what I saw in the paper it was a beating. I think you’re just mad because you team got embarrassed.

Wow! Did you actually even pay attention to what they said the shirts had on them?? That is awful! If that had been at some game that was televised it would have been smudged out because it was nasty! Could you imagine your kid asking you what that meant? How sick are you people??? None of you agreed that it was bad! Kids will be kids huh? maybe just SOUTH kids! No decent parent would let their teen go anywhere wearing filth like that! This was a school football game! Little kids are there? I dont' think it was about getting beat at all. Credit was given where credit was due. Like they said, GET SOME CLASS!

You can muffle your kids ears, blindfold their eyes, and try to hide them from the obscenities and the truth of the real world. But in a few years your kids will be teenagers, and they will be as.sholes, too, just like all teenagers. If you don't think your kids turn out rotten because you are a great parent, then you are in denial.

So one team played another and it was a serious mismatch. Is it a surprise that a team from Kingsport beat a team from Gate City? One team pulling from one population base (Scott Co Va) and the other pulling from one much larger (Kingsport), and you guys are crowing about winning?

We may not agree with kids and fans at football games, but the fact that the ACLU sent that letter to Gate City about prayer is crazy. Just my opinion and I lknow its a little off topic.

OH yes there are PLENTY of kids with class and show respect!! MINE ARE!! They know whats right and whats wrong! You obviously have grown up with bunch of heathens!
