Im not saying that.
I want to see you attack the big problems as much as you do the small problems. 46 million people on food stamps is still far far less than the subsidies paid to for-profit corporations, blackmailing them into keeping jobs here in this country.
46 million x avg 1200/year benefit is 55 billion. The pentagon spends 700-900 billion a year, roughly 12-18 times as much. And the pentagon is just one damn department. Add in all the departments, and then add in the corporate welfare and bailouts.
Get your priorities straight, hillbilly. I wanna see your asss put as much effort into addressing the bigger abusers of the system. Lets see it, buddy. Funny, all I see you complaining about are the little guys burdening the system.
I think what the poster was saying was that should the food stamp program allow folks to buy junk food. When someone can't win an argument, a very common ploy is diversion. You failed to make an argument as to why the food stamp program should allow junk food to be purchased. Instead, you tried to change the subject and focus on the Wall Street and Dept. of Defense expenditures. A worthy topic, but not the discussion here. And name calling...doesn't make for a credible argument. Everything you said voided in my book, because you can't make an argument yourself without berating someone else.
