My daughter and I went to Dr. Kendra Francis's office at Meadowview family dentistry on john b dennis and it was a great experience. my little girl has been so scared of going to the dentist but she absolutely loved it there! everyone was so nice and caring. They actually listened to all of my concerns for myself and my daughter and came up with a game plan of what needed to be done. Dr. Francis is so nice and really seemed to know what she was talking about. She even gave me different options based on my budget. it was great. if anyone is looking for a dentist, definitely go see dr. francis at Meadowview family dentistry!

I visited their office at the beginning of August. Dr. Francis is a very nice person and her staff were very helpful. I will be taking my whole family to this office from now on.

Up until today, we had been very pleased w/ Dr Francis and her staff. However, today, one of the dental hygienists chose to berate, chastise and attempt to physically restrain my 6 year old daughter because she was crying and was having a hard time calming down. She had had to explain the procedures to my daughter more than once and her frustration was obvious. After beginning to polish my daughters teeth, my daughter became scared and cried again and the hygenist threw up her hands and pushed away and said "i'm done". She walked away and left the polish on her teeth and noone to help. When my husband tried to speak to the manager about the altercation, he was immediately asked to leave and threatened w/ police action. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy.

Wow Cristina's family should look no further than at
themselves. Their daughter had to be chastised and physically restrained to have her teeth polished and
the police had to be threatened on the Dad! Wow,
what a dental visit. Sounds like daughter is alot like her dad Christina. Children do imitate behaviors they have seen.
My 6 year old grandaughter has been coming to Meadowview Family dentistry for 2 years and enjoys her special time alone in the treatment room. Our whole family has had wonderful experiences with othodontics, crowns and fillings as well as preventive care. Thanks Meadowview Family Dentistry!

The situation should have been handled differently. To blame a child for the unprofessonal behavior of the hygenist is just plain wrong. Why was it not suggested at some point when it was obvious that the child was
having a difficult time with the visit that she be taken to a "pediatric dentist"? The experience
this child had may take many visits to a dentist office that is prepared to handle this type of situation.
To the child's mother, I don't know what you mean by physically restrain, sometimes it is necessary to restrain a child when performing work, a pediatric dentist might do this. When you speak about berating your child that is so wrong. The demeanor of the hygenist was a huge contributor to your daughters stress!
I always took my children to a pedicatric dentist and they never had a bad experience. My grandchildren go to this dentist today, he is so reassuring. Just like a pediatrician, pediatric dentists are trained to deal with the dental needs of children.

I was actually a patient in the office when Christina's situation occurred. I was in a chair over from them and could hear/see everything that transpired. I want to assure anyone reading this that yes, the daughter was misbehaving as children often do. However, that was a normal situation and the hygienist did act professionally in stating that the appointment was over due to her behavior. A dental assistant came into the room after the hygenist left and tried to help calm the child, who was still mildly upset, and mother, who was in near-hysterics at this point over such a normal reaction from her child. The point I want to make here is that this was a normal visit and reaction for a child and her mother simply overreacted. The rest of the story that Christina neglected to include in her post is that her husband charged into the office after she left, began screaming and cursing at the office receptionist, demanding to see the Dr. The receptionist tried to calm him, but he instead reached through the front window and grabbed her wrist, twisting it, stating that he was going to hit her. This is why the police were called. That is the rest of the story that needs to be told.

Those ads on tv need to show the dentist w/the patients. Not the hygenists who still think they are up for prom queen, exaggerated looks with all that makeup. No wonder the child was scared.

Oh yes, that will help the child, NOT. Sounds to me like the employees need to learn how to deal with children so they will not be traumatized. The father, on the other hand, may benefit from an assault charge so he will think twice before he reacts like that again.

This statement is complete fabrication. I am the husband who went in asking to speak to the manager. At no time did I EVER touch ANYONE. To say that I twisted someones wrist is a total fabrication, you know it, I know it, and the Lord Jesus Christ knows it. Clearly the posts following my wifes posts are from employees doing "damage control", for a hygienist who has NO BUSINESS working with children. For the parent looking for a dentist, ask yourself these questions: since you CANNOT SEE from one dental chair to the next, who REALLY posted this false response? Second, if I actually assaulted someone, why wasn't I arrested, and charges filed? Why were the police called HOURS after I left? Simple, they are covering themselves in the chance I may press charges on the hygienist who did this to my little girl. And for the record, this woman grabbed my daughter, by the head, out of frustration in an attempt to reason with her. To say my wife overreacted is rediculous, because all she did was leave when no one came back to help after the hygienist left. When I returned, I CALMLY asked to speak to the manager, was told no, and then no less than 3 employees started yelling at me to leave, threatening to call the police if I didn't. I did leave. And yes, I yelled from the parking lot. Any PARENT would when their 6 year old daughter had been practically assaulted. The responses after my wifes review are rediculous. I welcome anyone to meet me and my family, either at your church or mine, and I will put my hand on a bible and swear the truth. I challenge the lying receptionist to do the same. I will check this board periodically to see what other falsehoods they choose to post. To any potential client of Meadowview Dental, ask yourself if this is truly a place you want to associate yourselves with.

Hi,
At first I didnt understand your animosity towards me, until I read the other posts in more detail. I can assure you, I did not, nor would I ever, harm another person. The post that says I reached in and twisted someones wrist is completely false. There's a reason no assault charge was filed, and that is because there was no contact whatsoever. Please read my response to that person. And for the record, MY SON was in the next chair.

For the record....my reaction had little to do with my daughters crying. It however had EVERYTHING to do with the hygenist grabbing my daughter without warning or permission. I realize that at times it is necessary to restrain an individual for a procedure, however, with regards to a minor child, it is NEVER done without permission. Also for the record, whoever you are you couldn't see anything the way the office is set up. Besides that would be a breach of HIPPA privacy laws so nice try.As for my husband assaulting anyone, you are a liar. That never happened and shame on you for fabricating such a story.

I am very familiar with this office . The staff there is extremely friendly and professional. The couple telling the lies about their kid needs some help. They have tried to slander this office name on any site they can find. The hygentist is one of the nicest and sweetest people I know. A brat kid and parents with anger management issues is a bad recipe. Your kid sounds like a difficult patient and you sound like an over protective parent. My advice to you is be ready to have many dentists and doctors, because you will not be happy with anyone!

What a surprise pretty ladies work at a dentist office, what a novel idea to put on your best clothes and face to make a commercial which costs a lot of money to make and run on the air. Sounds like some jealousy to me.

Everybody who wants to know how the man behaved just stop into the Park Place Package Store and The Knife Shop next door and ask them why they called the police! Then the truth about DADDY will come out! Dentist office never called 911! It was neighboring stores that heard his malicious foul mouth screaming curse words at everyone in the dentist office and threatening to kick the women's asses (WHAT A MAN YOU ARE SIR). Grow up and do not swear on the Bible in this case you will probably be struck by lightning! Oh! Oh! what one sees when one goes through the drive thru at McDonalds and pulls up in a parking space to eat! I had to ask what was going on because I NEVER wanted this to happen at my hair salon.

Meadowview family dentistry is Great!! there an awesome staff. To the family with the little girl,My children love going there. The hygentist is wonderful and they love getting there teeth cleaned. But My Children are taught to behave!!!Sounds like the couple that had the bad experience there with there child need to take her to a pedatric dentist. They strap the kid down even if they scream, parents cannot go back at all. COME ON NOW!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! leaving polish on her teeth is not gonna harm her....BIG DEAL!!!!!!!!!!
