Very busy dr office in kingsport had me doing the work of 3 people for VERY little pay (check in, check out, phones, filing, pulling charts, pulling insurance verificatinons, converting charts to electronic, making appointments, confirming appointments, medical records releases/etc, open, close, cash drawer, sorting mai) and they put me on my own after only 2 days of training and then bitched because I messed up on a patient's router (forgot to circle level of visit). The management was like Hitler. No care for any of the employees.People quitting left and right. Then they were so cheap they did away with their cleaning service and demaded that I do that also including sweeping the parking lot because apparently I had spare time. One day I had a line of people, 2 calls on hold, and the doctor reprimanded me in front of everybody because he saw a cigarette butt in the parking lot on his way in. I quit.

I worked for a higher end Jcp 20 years ago , back then if you worked in the dress dept you got 7% commission I worked in jewelry making 10% commission. Let me tell you, we busted our butts selling for obvious reasons. Sell one piece of levian jewelry for 10,000 and make a thousand not counting your other sales for the week! I go in jcp now and see miserable management and sales people. There hasn't been commission in these stores for years and you can see the employees prob don't get paid or treated well. The stores are no longer high end. Sad to see it go down hill

Horrible place, horrible employees and a horrible female manager. My family will never use them again. Prices are too high and they do not care about familes, only the bottom line.

Walmart hands down.

The entire company is corrupt to the core, Johnson City Market Street location had rats in the produce at one time, out of date yogurt on the shelf weekly, bad meat put back on the shelf after an 8 hour power outage because the store didn't want to take a loss, support managers having sex with employees in the automotive restroom at night, and upper management covering for them by conveniently 'losing' the video evidence. A large kid pool roped off in the middle of the store to catch rain from a leaking roof -- for MONTHS. Sewage coming out from backed up pipes and running out under the ice machine.Management having 'favorites'. Support managers throwing chairs at employees, sexual harassment. If people only knew what goes on at that location, they would never shop there. I've heard horror stories about other locations but that one is by far, is the worst I've ever seen.

Dunkin donuts. Store owner is a hateful hitler. She expects one person to do the work of 3. Orders you to do things you know are against the rules and threatens you with termination if you question it, new store manager on stone drive is a vey hateful to employees and customers. She has no idea how to run a store.

I worked my whole life since I started washing dishes at a drug store fountain at the age of 14. Bicycled there 10 miles and back after school and weekends.
Was never late, did the best job I possible could and never complained.

Several jobs later in my early twenties I discovered something called an Apple II computer. Didn't know a thing about them but started trying to sell them to people and business that were mostly afraid of computers at the time but I stuck with it.

Long story short, I discovered I enjoyed figuring them out more then selling. I'm now retired after eventually becoming one the the top systems analyst in the country.

Simple Rules for Success:

1. Learn to put the words "I Can't" out of your vocabulary. Takes determination and practice.

2. Never give up! I'd be a bull in a china shop if I was given a task.

3. Be thankful you have a job of any kind. Always do your best, no complaining and you never know where destiny will take you.
