Can you really tell a difference in your grocery bill by shopping at price less? I hear you get products at cost and you pay 20%??

Cost plus 10% . From what I have seen you can get stuff on sale cheaper other places but if its regular price somewhere it seems to be cheaper at priceless including the 10% upcharge. Reason being food city will put hamburger meat on sale at a loss to get you in the store hoping you spend it on other things.

I just discovered the other day you can get salad dressing for a dollar at Dollar General. Alot of other things there are more expensive. But a dollar store seems to be good for shaving supplies and salad dressings.

Price Less is wonderful. We save around $50-80 every month on our grocery bill. We buy their brand most of the time, and I've never had a problem with quality. I used to shop at Food City and in the past year or so, their "Food Club" brand has been declining in quality, plus I have had issues with rude managers and cashiers. I doubt I will stop shopping at Price Less any time soon! Hope this helps :)

They have a clean store with a good selection at very competitive pricing. I wouldn't buy all my food there, but thats true of every store.

I have been to the one in Weber City a few times. I haven't tried their meat products. But I do buy a lot of other stuff there. For example: Walmart has the 8 pack of 12oz Dasani water for 2.98 and I bought it at PL for 1.88 & the same with their fruits, can goods, etc. I have found It to be $1 to $2 cheaper then Walmart. If you add on the extra 10% it still saves money.

Because they are selling everything at cost so they don't make money off that. The 10% extra is to pay employees and keep the store up. I shop at Priceless and I really like it. Not everything is cheaper at their store but many items are and I overall feel like I save the most money shopping there. I buy some of the always save and store brands as well to save some money and I've never had any issues with the quality or taste of it.

Their meat is very good and fresh. The Weber City store also has a fairly good wine selection for a grocery store at cheap prices. I personally don't get the appeal of Food City in this area, for 90% of things I buy I find them to be the most expensive grocery store in the area and their store brand is terrible.

Some things are cheaper but others aren't. They have increased in prices since they first opened. Their selection is ok but definitely not like Wal-mart or Food City. It just all depends. Most of the time, after u add the 10%, the product is almost the same as other places. They have a Facebook page that might list some prices. Just try it out, u might like it but then again, u might not.

i loved priceless when they 1st opened mainly cause they had choclate eclairs for 2.32 and there 3.99 everywhere else. Bt now they never seem 2 have ne. And i love there canned vegies cause most of them are .40 and even with the 10% cost its still cheeper than the food city in weber city

Food City in WC actually has canned veggies for 42 cents, so they are 2 cents cheaper than Priceless (after the 10% is added). :) There may be several things you can get cheaper at Priceless, but once you compare and add the 10% + tax, it's not usually the best choice for everything. Plus, the employees at Priceless are so quick to get hateful, and this is also true for Walmart.

Priceless is not always the cheapest but they are cheaper on many items and I save money shopping there. You should look at prices carefully and compare before you shop there as everybody's shopping patterns and needs are different. I also save money at Kroger because when they have items on sale and promotions they have the best prices. I still just don't understand the big thing about Food City in this area, on almost everything I buy I find them to be at least 25% higher (or higher)on items. Even on items I don't buy when I'm at Food City I think wow that's way higher here than at other stores.

I also found that when you buy in bulk they have some pretty decent deals on meat. I once got 5 lbs. of uncut sirloin for just over $20, maybe $25. I ended up getting 2 roasts and close to a dozen steaks out of it. Same for pork loin. If you shop smart you can get a month's supply of meat for relatively lost cost.
