Pill Mill - Apex Health Care. As long as you can pass a urine test, have legimate records they can cover their ass with and have your pill count on your appt day, you can get meds there.

If it is a problem and you are disgusted, why don't you report your suspicions to the proper authorities instead of venting your disgust on Topix? I have a problem with these doctors and the users cause they make it extremely difficult for people that actually need the pain, medicine to get it. I don't understand why someone diagnosed with a legit problem, and tests, MRI's, xray's, etc. to prove it, go in and have a hard time getting medication they need, but some pill head can walk in, whine about some fake problem, hand over some cash, and get a script. If you know so much about this place, report it!
It was reported to the police they could care less!

He requires your medical history, MRI's, blood test, etc. and does a urinalysis at every appointment. He does NOT overprescribe, I would say he UNDERprescribes. I am his patient and he is a very good doctor. He takes time to talk to you about your problems and tries everything before resorting to prescribing any narcotic medication! I've been with him for years and I know this for a fact. If you know something firsthand, I believe you should let it be known and that is why I'm writing this! I hate to see good doctors get a bad name because they try to HELP legitimate patients with legitimate problems! There are always going to be those who try to get meds without proper medical proof, but as far as I know, he is not one of those doctors that will prescribe freely and without knowing your medical history! This is my personal opinion and I've trusted him for a long time with my health needs.
I agree with you on so many levels but there is one thing I know. If you have no legitimate, and I am referring to history of injury, MRI showing major problems, and lastly you have tried other options; The they are turned away. Nothing wrong with you then you are turned away.

I didn't say no regulations, the dea goes around scaring everyone and it is like propaganda. 15 places said we don't feel just because it is that Dr.ask why and they couldn't say. Some others said he is under investigation. I asked about the legal issues when I took my records and such. I was shown his license for TN. The appt, I had to remove shirt and shoes so they could check for track marks, I was thoroughly patted down to make sure I was carried altering substance for urine sample. My family practice isn't as strict. The last Dr I had wrote the same prescriptions for all patients and we only went to see him every 6 mths. U all filled his. This Dr is from Colorado BTW. If a Dr is under investigation and doing so wrong why not make him close the doors instead of letting him continue to make money and leave a bunch of desperate people running around dealing with judgmental pharmacists. The patients are real people with real issues. One lady had just been through cancer treatment a couple people limbs missing. The pharmacies don't see don't care. It is almost like they had a control complex. I even got desperate enough to take in records showing my ms and MRI from holston showing scoliosis. It did me no good. Gray pharmacy still fills for him but because i had never been there they couldn't take me. My pharmacist for years said they didn't take any patients of his at all so there wouldn't be any exceptions. While you around here say we don't just because, people drive all the way to Carolina and Chattanooga and pay double the price. While it is easy for you to say wait on meds u have been on for years or go pay an outrageous med bill at hospital it isn't that simple. You have no understanding nor compassion for someone who night after night feels the misery. Pharmacist shouldn't be allowed to judge or control if they don't take time to understand why they just can't nor who their customers truly are.

it's not that the pharmacies couldn't say...they just won't. We can't discuss things in detail about an ongoing investigation. Maybe you are a legit patient, and I don't doubt you are. But don't blame the pharmacists for only doing what is legal. Trust me, turning down customers is not how we stay in business, and is not common practice. It's only a necessity in this case.

I agree with you DDDpainsufferer, I do not know your Dr,but I do know Dr.Tasker he is the same way you describe your Dr. He cares about you,but there is greedy Dr's out there same is there junkies or people that buys them for other reasons than pain,so that makes it hard for us to get the help we need, and we are under medicated because of that. If it saves lives and stops unnessary usages it will be wonderful, but it wont, just makes it hard on people like us. I get so depressed and angry when I'm in so much pain and can not get what I need for people that cause the problems, that has no pain just the pain they have when they are out of pills, I have 4 surgeries ahead of me, if I can last that long,I will just have to end it my self. They talk about the cash thing with Dr's they just passed a law to where all Dr's have to take money orders or check credit card or debit, that may help slow down the ones that was hiding cash from the goverment and not paying as much taxes and now they will be a papper trail, but I really think it falls to the people that just wants to sell there pills and the ones that use for other reasons than pain. Any way it will just get harded for people like you and I and many more to get the help we need with out the act of congress. But don't get me wrong I thank GoD and my Dr.for what I do get it is keeping me alive right now.
Best Regards! Pain Sufferer.

Oh YES he is a pill pusher!!!!He does over prescribe!!!When he writes two prescription for perocets, opana, valium, soma, plus more in one visit dont tell me he's not!!! I have a family member that is hook on pills and says the very same thing about how good and caring he is..he wouldnt be so good if he stop the pills. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT saying you have this problem but I am saying that he knows the problem with the family member, but has yet to do anything about it. He plain dont care as long as he gets his money. Yes he does urine tests,,,for the extra money he charges for it and no he doesnt take insurance or etc. I guess it leaves a paper trail, that he doesnt want!!!!He even gives the nasal spray if that dont tell you something!!!Great doctor--thats a laugh...

Dr. Tochev is aother pill mill operator. Roxys Valium, Somas, Oxycontin, whatever you want it is there and there is never any pill counts on people or anything. Just show up and get it. You know a doctors office that accept insurance, check or credit card payment, cash only something is up with that.
You are right on the no pill count..but he does do a urine test..has to cover his behind plus it gets him extra money. I am so glad to see that someone else see what he really is!!! It is hard when you have someone you love addicted and then have a dr like him write anything he can to give them...as long as they have a "History of pain" they got it made..

Just because someone abuses the system and ended up with pills does not make them a pill mill. The patients can turn it into seeming like it is but thats because everyone whose on drugs hooks theirbfriend up with that doctor and they do the same just because they actually cared. And thats when ppl start trading and then getting mad and calling in and once they find that ring of people they dismiss and thats where u end up with a buncha people saying "hes a quack he dismissed 50 ppl for no reason" ok number one u were dismissed because he found out about ur lil drug ring, busted u and got u all butt hurt. And then the doc becomes jaded by dealing with all that stuff and doesnt care. So its either "its a pill mill!" Or "they dont help at all" so all drs are bad except the ones that give u what u want but when other people are too and u fuck up then what, now were back to the pill mill thing. Grow the fuck up, if ur hurting go to a doc, if ur addicted find a way to get off it or to a managable level if u have actual pain

Greetings everyone. Three months ago my wife was dropped from apex for no reason. I have asked two lawyers if this was legal and both said that nothing could be done. My wife suffers from bipolar disorder and anxiety as well as nerve damage from chemo therapy. When she went in for her appointment they asked her to urinate for them and she had just used the restroom before she left the house. They had always been patient before when she did this but this time Rose gave her a limited amount of time and told her that if she did not pee she would have to schedule a new appointment. my wife became upset and cried just a little bit and Rose told her that if she did not stop crying she would be dismissed. She stopped right away and they made her a new appointment for two days later. When she walked in for this one Rose said What are you doing here, you have been dismissed. We asked for a copy of the letter of dismissal and she refused by telling us it would be sent to the new doctor. I have talked to several people since this and they have had similar experiences with this business with most of them involving this Rose lady. The lawyers i spoke with have represented apex on occasion and therefore were biased in saying nothing could be done. I have heard of a class action suit being formed against them. If anyone has any information regarding this please contact me via this board. If anyone from apex is reading this please know that you have caused my wife incredible discomfort leading to three hospitalizations and she nearly died. You may feel free to contact me to. I was under the impression that Doctor Brown was a christian man but I do not see how if he allows his staff to run over people like this. I may be incorrect about the incredibly rude nurses name. A gentleman whose wife underwent a similar experience told me that the rude nurse who wears glasses is named Rose.

All I know is that, my mother had to leave her doctor and go to centerpoint. Her previous doctor would not properly treat her pain, she was unable to function and do things that she used to do. She is in her late 50's and has several problems. Her previous doctor kept trying to prescribe her drugs that did not work which would do more harm than good. I don't understand this, she has legit problems but the doctor failed to treat her. Its a shame that the government has got doctors so paranoid to prescribe that people like my mom has to suffer. But someone told her about centerpoint so she went and they treated her pain. I do know that they do not over prescribe, because what they give her is barely enough. But she can function now and she's happier.

I've been the route. I have a masters degree in engineering from WVU. Fur years ago, I was in a motorcycle wreck. Broke my leg two places. 18 months later, leg was OK, but hopelessly hooked on pills. I don't drink. Never even smoked a cigarette. Long story short, I went thru the tapered suboxone program and it saved my life and family and career and everything. It's impossible to go thru the hellish withdrawal . People judge who don't know. All j guilty of is riding a motorcycle while living in the MOST ADDICTED STATE IN THE NATION.

Ron Ramsey takes plane rides and sucks the snotty end of the pharmaceutical companies FSTICK. I read up and his actions that opened up the flood gate to allow Pfizer and a few others to peddle their drugs to the people . He even fights against the ways to get off the drugs. This dude works for Satan.

I cannot take a pain pill for any reason, now. Of my leg hurts, it's ibuprofen or nothing. But I pray every day that something painful happens to the Ramsey family and one or more of them gets hooked, can't get off and then can't gain access to the life-saving suboxone program that's saving millions.

Look at who these little state senators campaign contributors are. Ron Ramsey represents the solid and liquid drug dealer and not you. and you fools vote for him every time. And every Time you do, you vote for Satan.
