Why should there be a change in 911? Turn on your scanner and listen and that should answer all your questions... I would rather listen to the old witches than the new ones saying ummm huh what did he say.. Did he say 10-8 or 10-38.

I saw what looked like a new, all black, CCSO SUV with no light bar and stealth decals milking the I-95 cow yesterday.

Is that a Gregory acquisition or is Proctor already on a buying spree?
Good job

Nice to see Proctor has the inmate detail up and running. They were on Harriet's Bluff Rd. yesterday picking up garbage. Keep up the good work!

That's the one that Gregory ordered for himself before he got his ass handed to him. Proctor put it on the road because that's where it was needed the most.

Well, Jay, wondering is telling the truth. Jim has not spent any funds. As a matter of fact everyone who works there is happy as can be, even the Gregory clan, they did not get fired for doing their jobs. Give it a rest Jay, Your pick for Sheriff was a failure, this new Sheriff will be around for years as long as he does the right thing. I think he has seen what being an idiot can do for you. It can make you the former sheriff. Has Tommy invited you to lunch yet?

You were just told the truth. Proctor has not been in office long enough to get that SUV ordered much less delivered.

Sheriff Proctor drives his own vehicle in his travels throughout the county. His main objective as far as vehicles is to keep costs down but also maintain a safe fleet for his employees. He is doing a fantastic job so far. Morale is up, productivity is up, and we have a Sheriff that we can be proud of. He has done more in three weeks than his predecessor did in 4 years.

That's pretty impressive hyperbole. Could you validate your last sentence with examples?

well, lets see, it took tommy almost 2 years to get a website. he has numerous law suits, paid, and still pending, he cost several officers their certification who did not deserve to lose them. some officers were punished who did not deserve it. He spent a ton of money to educate himself and stay in 4 star hotels. the crime has increased, the drugs are out of control. the morale was in the toilet. He (gregory) bought new badges and uniforms, did not help anything. you know. Proctor has been there 16 days and speak to most of the staff and they say it is like working for a new agency. they say it is great to go to work. get over it moreno, your pick was not a good choice. he failed miserably.

I did not ask fora laundry list of your real or imagined problems with EX-sheriff Gregory.

I'm asking you or Wlly or any other apologist to substantiate the following remarkable claims:

"Morale is up, productivity is up, and we have a Sheriff that we can be proud of. He has done more in three weeks than his predecessor did in 4 years."

So far, I'm in the trust but verify mode as far as Sheriff Proctor is concerned. I sincerely hope that he turns out to be far and away the best sheriff the county has EVER had, but first, from the TAXPAYERS' perspective. If all the deputies have a mad man crush on Jim, that's fine but I care first and last about his performance from MY perpsective as a taxpayer.

Jim has always been very cordial to me. I like him. I just have a natural concern about anyone in any office who ever called or calls Bill Smith friend.
