I saw recently that both Cisco stations (exit 1 & exit 6) are being gutted and/or remodeled. Does anyone know whats goin on with them? Are they just tearing them down? Or is someone reopening them?

Petco Gas will be opening and providing a few low-wage jobs.

Another opportunity for a major manufacturer to open in that prime location is gone. Thank you David Keating and the rest of the useless JDA members.

I see.

You would take that prime piece of real estate at the first exit out of Florida and convert it from it's optimal use as what it was and replace it with an industry who would have to pay way more money for it's location - a location from which it would derive no benefit whatsoever.

That's why David does what he does and you don't.

Please be specific and provide us all with a list of "That's why David does what he does" for an eighty plus salary.

I need you to jump on this as most of my family and friends are looking for work in this county. Including address's,the number of openings and job discriptions would also be helpful.

I'll be waiting Moron and feel free to call your buddy Davie for a good shot of B/S. IDIOT

I'm asking you A-Hole. "That's why David does what he does" for an eighty plus salary. I'm waiting for that Camden County jobs list.

Keating is as effective as JDA director as you were slinging burgers at Burger King. Well at least Keating hasn't had his ass kicked for being an incompetent manager. Idiot. I'm waiting.

well tax dollars on millions of business dollars in sales going to the coffers, means a whole lot more to the local politicians than jobs for you and me.

TA or Flying J?

I believe TA is converting all of their old locations to Goasis with an adjacent couple of TA repair bays, like the arrangement at Exit 29.

TA. Goasis is samller format store. This store will be more of the classic truck stop with showers, lounge and good roadside food.

Yeah, that was my recollection as well. The reason I remember it it because it occurred to me that it seemed a little unusual to have two of them only 28 miles apart. I'm sure the gas tax differential between Florida and Georgia is what sold them on it.

What gas tax differential are you taking about? Last week- Tampa $3.10-20, Dayton $3.25-35. South Carolina has been breaking the $3.00 mark.

Obviousdly, neither of the two hate-motivated statements abv refute my observation that gasoline taxes in Florida are considerably higher than n Georgia.
