Help! I've got gas...

running to the home I just bought in Kingsland. There is a natural gas meter already installed. However, the gas is off and there is no indication on the meter as to who to call.

When you call Atlanta Gas Light, you get a long list of possible middlemen.

Do these middlemen all charge the same price per cubic foot of gas or what? Where I come from, you just called the one gas company.

Can someone recommend a good company? Phone number?

Thanks.

Forget the meter, and call Ferrelgas and get some propane. Natural gas is one big fat organized crime around these parts.

I think I might just replace the gas water heater with a super-efficient electric water heater.

Georgia Power will give a $550.00 rebate on the $900.00 heater.
