Get ready to hold on to you wallets Kingsland. All the years the Spencers canpaigned against the real estate cartel and the Hill-Smith-Drury real estate cartel the Gross/Spencer TAD is born. Somehow things always seem to go around always seem to come around. When you pretend to preach from the pulpit of righestness you away seem to end up tripping over your dictation.

Not Born Yet. It Still Has To Go To The Senate.
What I Do Not Get Is The Line That They Give About The Rise In Property Values Covering The Cost Of The Tax. This Would Be Great To Whom Ever Sells Theirs, But It Will Only Lead To Higher Taxes For Those Who Retai Ownership.

And Why Is This Stupid Phone Capitalizing Every Word.

Didn't the mayor and city council vote unanimously to request the TAD? If so why shouldn't Jason support it?

Funny. That's exactly the question we St. Marys senior citizens have for Jason.

But they did not UNANIMOUSLY vote it in, DUMB ASS!! How many times do you have to be told that. Kingsland did, therefore he has to to do the bidding of the people. To claim to be so f-ing smart you are sure thick headed!

You sound as stupid as Morono. If the city unanimously votes for it,Jason has to support it. If there was one vote that was against it, this wouldn't be an issue, but an entirely different issue all together. Then you would really sound as stupid as Jay, because you would now be crying the same way he does, claiming Jason is holier than thou and all that bull crap that moron spews from his vile pie hole about he has no right to go against the people! Morono will go on to say it was a majority rules all type vote. CLEARLY IT ISNT!! UNANIMOUS MEANS EVERYONE AGREES ON IT! Not all but one. That isn't a unanimous vote. But we are dealing with Jay dumb ass Morono's definition of UNANIMOUS.Which to that over stuffed jerk off means that if 4 out of 5 approve(just a number) then it's supposed to pass. 5 out of 5 have to approve.

So where does it say that it must be a Unanimosus vote for Spencer to put forth the bill and vote for it? Because I can tell you he didn't get put in office by a Unanimous vote.

Exactly right.

Perhaps the dissenting arssholes also contend that ordinances that are not passed unanimously are not enforceable.

Here is the story on the TAD...if you were paying attention instead of watching American idol and WWE you would know what was happening. When Jason took office, the people of Kingsland voted down the initial request from the City Council that they requested Cecily Hill to place it on the ballot. The referendum failed in 2010 by about 70+ votes. At that time, he was asked to put the referendum back on the ballot but he would not do it unless there was a unanimous vote from the City of Kingsland. Many who supported the TAD were pissed with Spencer because he asked the Council to bring a unanimous resolution to him before he would consider resubmitting the local legislation. Is that a high bar to ask for when the citizens already voted it down? Yes it is. So the City Council met his demand and he put it through. Then in 2011 the people voted for the TAD by 70+ votes. Now the TAD stands. If you are going to blame someone, then hold the entire city council of Kingsland accountable. When your representative asks for a unanimous resolution from the local government to put in local legislation, it is hard to go against Home Rule. There are only a few exception for a representative to veto a unanimous resolution requesting Redevelopment Powers. Again, if you want to get angry with someone, direct your frustrations at your city council. Learn how your government works. Too many low information voters out there.

Why are you trying to confuse us with facts? A good dose of arrssholes, Jason and a little Jeremy added to the mix is all we idiots need to form our opinions.

Seriously, a very good clear and precise explanation.

You can't have it both ways. You're either for it or against it. Just like you voting for a hospital tax increase earlier this year. You can't keep explaining it away. Funny how you managed to make an impotent political career by doing some of the same things you relentlessly criticized your former opponent for.
