Lets take stock of what has occured during the last 4 years:
The deficit has tripled after Obama pledged TWICE to cut it in half.(and the fools believed him)
Millions more unemployed.
Millions more on welfare.
Food prices up...gasoline up over a dollar per gallon.
People slaughtered in an embassy in a foreign land due to failure due to the State Dept and all Obama does is deny and try to avoid responsibiity.
The IRS goes after those whoare not democrats and NOTHING is done and won't be done.
PresidentTruman used to have a sign on his desk that said "The Buck Stops Here"
Obama takes responsibility for NOTHING!!!
All the democrats do is blame Republicans and try to avoid responsibility for their failures.
That about sum it up?
Hmm no refuting of the facts I see...

Bubba, engage brain: Some people have to get up, get dressed and work all day. Not everyone can afford to not work and just play on the computer. Furthermore, you really might consider some outside / other activities for your mental health as I see you've posted about six times on this very tread, even replying to yourself. That seems a bit excessive.

Re Bush verses Obama, I truly doubt any legitimate presidential historian will say Bush had a successful presidency. Obama on the other hand has done very well considering what a mess he inherited and the amount of Republican obstruction/hatred he's endured. But his time in office is still be written so we'll all see later how he's judged. However, as of right now, he remains extremely popular and well thought of. I doubt that will change and I'm confident Democrats will retain the WH again in 2016 thanks in large part to your very own President Obama.

Truth, I know you have limited intelligence and ability. How do I know? Simple, a poor person has never hired a single worker. You say you are a mechanic. Is the person you work for poor? I doubt it or if they are they are trying to become rich. That being the case the first thing I would advise him is to fire you. You are a complainer and blamer. Complain about having to work and blaming others for your station in life. Since it is obvious that you have limited memory I will repost about why the economy was so bad when the HNIC took office in 2009.

"The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.

The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time:

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH

Remember the day...

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?

OBAMA and the Democrat Congress

So when someone tries to blame Bush...

REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!"

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th."

Hey, Red. You have posted the same cut and paste article more than half a dozen times. I read it the first time and then the second thinking you might have posted something new. Now I don't bother and I doubt if anyone else does either. Why don't you try to find something new to cut and paste and, until you do, stop cluttering up the forum.

The stock market is up because the fed is buying nearly $90 billion (yes billion) of equities every month. When that comes to an end, and it will, the market is going to go down like the Titanic.

Hey there, Bubba. I sure didn't address any of Red's points. I didn't even say that I disagreed with them. I just stated the obvious--Red cut and pasted a long tirade that he evidently did not write himself. He first posted this months ago and every time someone says something pro-Obama, he dredges it out and posts it again. He has become boring. That is not nonfactual garbage--it is just the way I feel about someone who seems to not have anything original to say. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers.

Oh, and by the way, it is a fact that, as proven by polls, Hillary could, right now, defeat any named potential Republican candidate. That will probably change and Hillary may not run. The Republicans know this and that is probably the biggest reason they are dragging the Benghazi hearings on and on when there are more important things to accomplish.

I don't doubt for a second she would win.
Look at the democrats base of voters... the unemployed, those on food stamps, government workers or retirees. union members, andn there are more and more of these types. Give people free stuff from the treasury and they will vote democratic FOREVER!

You are, without a doubt, a tin foil hat wearing Republican idiot.

You've never met me. Don't know me or my family from Adam. In fact we've never even responded to each other's Topix postings.

Yet, because I no longer own a shop (lost it in the Great Recession a couple years back) and now simply work for someone else, I should be scorned and fired.

If you ever wonder why the Republican Party is declining and despised, consider your own comments about this middle class guy and it won't be hard to tell why.

I hope you and your Topix twin Bubba131 enjoy your remaining time under a succession of Democratic Presidents.
