Does Moreno torment his dog too?

Taken from Moreno Jay's Walmart post from yesterday:

"On the 4th trip, I needed a large jar of Great Value crunchy peanut butter. C.J. takes his phenobarb stuffed into a dollop twice a day. None.
But one of two of the more expensive smaller jars."

His poor dog, Cojack is taking phenobarbital twice a day. Let me guess why. Could it be that Moreno rants and raves like a mad man around the house as he does in public and on Topix?

And don't tell me you don't make a fool of yourself in public, Julian. Remember the St. Marys committee in which you were asked to tone it down or make yourself scarce? I'm told you actually dropped an "F bomb". Ouch!

I thought I would twist his Depends in a knot on Mother's day.

C.J. is a Jack-A-Bee or Bee-Jack. He is half Jack Russell and half Beagle.

From his Beagle side he has petit mal epilepsy, hence the phenobarbital.

Or is it because the Jack Russell in him makes him a very energetic dog and you keep him drugged up to slow him down?

Why drug your dog if it's just petit mal? Used over long periods of time phenobarbitol can cause fatal liver disease. Sounds like you're shooting a flea with an elephant gun.

But not to my vet. I don't give a rats as about your opinion.

The dog had been abandoned on the streets and was down to 18 pounds when the dog catcher caught him. He now weights 29 lbs.

Why did some sorry bastards abandon him? Because, when I first got him, he would every now and then get very quiet and disappear. I would find him quivering on my bed. Then one day, he was quivering and had blown his bladder on my bed. I recognized what it was immediately. The vet agreed with me. So long as he gets his phenobarb in the AM and PM, he's fine.

I would love to feed him your testicles for a light snack, a-hole.

"I would love to feed him your testicles for a light snack, a-hole." What a psychotic response to a suggestion that you may be over-medicating your dog. But then I would have expected nothing less from you, Jay.

I have had two dogs that had to take phenobarbitol for seizures, it is not that uncommon, sounds like Mr. Jay is doing the right thing.

Did you feed your dog testicles, too?

I seem to recall you saying that your dog is half Cocker and half Beagle, thus the name CoJack.

I thought it was Cocker and Jack Russell (CoJack - CJ). Moreno's story changes every day. Either way, he's risking permanent liver damage with the daily doses of phenobarbitol.

I heard that Julian ordered a "Mountain Oysters on the Half Shell" appetizer at his beloved Bistro and just loved them.

Eewwwwwww! Raw Mountain Oysters with a dash of hot sauce. Moreno will eat anything.

"A half dozen large, firm Mountain Oysters, harvested at the peak of perfection and carefully shucked and laid on the half shell. They were so good, I ordered a second round."

Julian, did they taste anything like sheep?

That's absolutely correct. The people at the animal shelter said that they thought he was half Jack Russell and half Cocker Spaniel. Hence the name CoJack. His Aunt Sarah began calling him C.J. for short.

At some point, I saw a picture in the T&G of a dog - I believe at the annual blessing of the pets - that might well have been C.J.'s litter mate. Those folks knew for certain that their dog was a Jack-a-Bee.

I found a web site about Jack-A-Bees. C.J. looks exactly like them and he matches one of the color possibilities you get when you cross a Jack Russell with a Beagle. The article said that an inheritance of epilepsy from the Beagle side is not uncommon.
He howls just like a Beagle. He is hyperactive and has boundless energy like a Jack Russell.

If he looks like Jack-A-Bee, howls like a Beagle, is colored like a Jack-a-Bee and has epilepsy like a Jack-A-Bee, he's a Jack-A-Bee just a surely as the originator of this thread and all the negative posters are hateful a-holes who would be better used as dog food.
