Watch this video.

It is scary to see how law abiding citizens are treated in the search for the Boston Marathon bomber (one was already dead).

Martial Law was not declared. Warrants had not been issued. Residents were treated as criminal suspects. Watch the glass flex as the SWAT Team pounds on the door.

This is frightening. This is why we need a second amendment and unabridged gun rights.

Unabridged! I don't think people around here would cotton to this type action.

If you were not hiding a terrorist, why would you object? There was clearly a justifying exigent circumstance where public safety was at sake.

You imply that you would have shot the police and felt justified. "B.S.,"indeed!

Isn't this the same federal government(INS) that brought these muslim terrorist over to America to be educated, and supported at tax payers expense. The feds send our young men and women to fight these muslim terrorist. This same federal government bring the terrorist here to kill us.

This same federal government send billions of dollars in modern weapons to these muslims which will eventually be used to kill our troops. The federal government has aided the muslim brotherhood in Egypt, Libia, and now Syrea. They hate us, they kill us.

Aiding and abetting the enemy is a crime when an individual does it.

How would you have wanted LE to conduct the search?
Be specific.

I take it you have no problem with being met at you home at gunpoint and marched out of your property, hands in the air.
They have a tough job and have to do it legally.
You can bet lawyers on both sides of this issue are digging.

Get a grip, people. They did their job and they did it well. Mission accomplished without further loss of life. Instead of b****ing about search methods you could get behind the rest of the country and thank the men and women who put their lives on the line in a terrifying situation.

I have no problem, because I'm usually the one doing it.

I'm sure the people in Watertown are happy with the results......so why is it a problem for you? Or are you just one of the ones who always has an axe to grind when it comes to LE?

Job well done.

Violation of the Forth Amendment?

No Martial Law declared. No court order or search warrant, blanket or otherwise.

Looks like most readers here think a 4th Ammendment violation is ok. Look at the "Judged" and posts.

No argument here on that.

A city-wide shutdown, and armed terrorist on the run, a house-to-house search*, and you say no.

Helpful hint: a search is quest for evidence. A clear, sweep or inspection are totally different.
