They're all a bunch of liars and easy to hate. Republicans I mean. Republicans in Kennesaw Cobb County. They SHOUT less government then pass another harebrain law outlawing smoking anything except in your own home. I'm not even sure if you can smoke in the yard. If you read today's Marietta Daily Journal like I do, then you read it. Here's the nuts and bolts from online: "The proposal would ban all smoking — cigars, cigarettes and even e-cigarettes — virtually everywhere that people gather, including bars, parks, Laundromats, offices, gaming facilities, within 20 feet of outdoor playgrounds, all sports arenas, stadiums and amphitheaters, bus shelters, restaurants, stores and all educational facilities.

The only place explicitly named in the draft ordinance where smoking would not be regulated is private residences,“unless used as a childcare, adult day care or healthcare facility.”

Smokers caught lighting up would be hit with a fine of up to $50 for each infraction.

Employers who violated the law would be punished with a fine up to $100 on first violation; up to $200 for the second violation within a one-year period and up to $500 for each additional violation within that year."

I think it's time for a new party in town not named Republican liars. I'm dirt tired of being told one thing then get something else shoved down my throat.

They may call themselves Republicans but I wouldn't.

They are certainly not Conservatives or Libertarians.

Might well add this story to this post why it's easier and easier to hate Republicans. Seems this week our Republican Congress from the 11th District, a guy named Phil Gingrey, whined about his congressional pay loud enough to be heard and quoted across the country. He said while lobbyists can “make 500,000 a year … I’m stuck here making $172,000 a year.” Now the guy is a multi-millionaire for crying out loud and he's bitc*ing about making that amount of money for working 125 days in Congress sitting on his you know what doing not a darn thing except whining. Give me a break. The whole thing is in USA Today today for everybody to see how stupid we are in Georgia. Thanks for nothing buddy boy.

Don't any of you think "hate" is a little excessive? Well I do. How about "distrust" or "dislike" or "detest" or something a bit more civil in the future.

Here's another group of Republicans forgetting Republicans are suppose believe and support LESS not MORE government interference in our lives! They sure can and do lie up a storm don't they.

"A new law in Texas punishes most drone use by citizens but leaves the option wide open for law enforcement.

Drones like these are used recreationally and by journalists and activists. Recently, a drone user in Dallas accidentally captured footage of a creek running red with pigs’ blood. Consequently, the meatpacking plant responsible was fined for illegal dumping. But that kind of citizen use of drones fitted with cameras will become a lot riskier under this new Texas law.(Via ABC, KCBD)

Put into effect Sept. 1, it makes the use of drones to capture images of people or property without permission punishable by a fine up to $500. And it allows the people who were filmed to collect up to $10,000 in civil penalties if the images were distributed with malicious intent."

Like you said Joe, here's another couple of Republicans forgetting Republicans are for LESS government involvement in our lives.

Today, they're after your kids - and your - bicycles. Namely you're going to have to register and buy and display a license plate on each bike. I sh*t you not. That's what Republicans are proposing now.

But there's more like they say on TV, they're also going to tell you HOW to ride. No more riding side by side talking & joking & smoking and having fun. Nope, you've got to ride in a line. Period. And your line of riders can't be more than four riders long. A fifth rider, say the mother in law or the youngest in the family, has to start their own single file line of riders 50 feet back. And on and on.

I'm totally convinced Republicans are not my party any more. Period. They have smoked dope one too many times for me.

They'll have one hearing in the entire state to take public comment (Gainsville on Oct 7). Here is the bill in detail: http://www.legis.ga.gov/Legislation/20132014/...

Thank Republican Representatives Rogers and Hawkins from Hall County (wherever the he*ll that is) for the most recent garbage Republican legislation.

Just checked the Kennesaw city council and the Cobb county commission and neither of the entities tells you whether their members are Republican or Socialist.

If they are proposing what you say they are then I would bet that they are socialist.

And the democrats have done so well:
Budget deficit has tripled affecting our childfen and grandchildren
IRS snoping and playing politics
Americans butchered in Benghazi and all the democrats want to do is lie and cover it up.
Passed the Obamacare act which the majority of Americans don't
Refuse to negotiate thus forcing the shut down of the government
Oh yeah they have done a super job....
I will NEVER vote democratic again...NEVER....All of them should be ashamed they put the party first and the nation second.

FDV/bubba131: Why is it Republicans are unable to master the Internet? All they all as intellectually challenged as you?

It takes all of 10 seconds to find out the politicians insisting you pay and register all bicycles with the state, display a license plate, ride in a single file line of no more than four riders, but a minimum of fifty feet behind the front foursome are Republican.

That's right, as the poster said, Republicans - NOT an Independent, NOT a Socialist, and NOT Democrats - are jamming this unnecessary bill down your throat.

Like the guy said, I've had my fill of Republicans & am moving on.

What a bunch of crap.
Did the democrats in control of the senate pass the Obamacare bill with -0- republician votes.
So who's cramming an unwanted health care bill down the Americans throat?
And that jackass Pelosi says' lets pass the bill and see what it says later"?
Again when are you going to start to care for the nation rather than the party.
THE MAJORITY DO NOT WANT THIS BILL!
(BTW if you think the government is going to charge those on welfare, unemployment etc a fine for not joining you are truly delusional Therefore the working taxpaying American's will be stuck paying for the nonproductive AGAIN!

And you're not??

Has it not become evident to you people that websites are just as biased as network news outlets??
Websites lie (as do network news shows) just to try and persuade listeners and readers.
You are not awae of that fact??
WOW

BTW BBC news is by far the less biased news show of all..witout a doubt. And probably the Wall Street Journal for print news
