Old Northport Road is extremely dangerous and something should be done to fix the conditions. I have been nearly hit head-on several times on this road and now go out of my way to avoid it. It is too curvey and drivers go much too fast. As the previous commenter mentioned, the sand and gravel make conditions worse. The construction vehicles from the industries along the Old Northport Road make it a deadly route (these drivers seem to think they own this road). God bless the Albertini family.

Mike Albertini was one great man. I will dearly miss him.Only knowing him for 3 years, I feel like I knew my hole life.I can't say enough good things about him.
My Son has been dating his Daughter Lauran for 3 years now. Lauran was in the passenger front seat at the time of the accident. I have been going the see her every night. Luckly person she in to have lived in this crash. She will need many surgeries to her leg and upper back. As of now she in doing well. We still need to pray for all 4 girls involved.
Dian Albertini is in hospital and will make a full recovery. She too has many injuries.
It will be a long recovery for the two.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prays !

My niece Alivia was involved in this crash and in the hospital with a severe spinal cord injury. She's a young beautiful teenager and also a dancer. It's just a tragedy for everyone involved. It will be a long road ahead. Please send prayers for our family. They are going to need a lot of help with this.
Thank you!

Mike was a great man and still is. I will miss him every day and am still shocked from this. I wish his daughters and their freinds a very speedy recovery. He always told me to smile cause life was too short which is why no matter what he was going through he was always smiling. Mike will forver be in our hearts and his family forever in our prayers.

Alivia Holmes (correct spelling) is my little cousin. She is 16, not 14. A lovelier girl there is not. An aspiring dancer, Liv's dreams will never come true and she will never dance again. I am glad her friends all made it and will recover. Liv will not. Something MUST be done about that road and more importantly: WHERE YOUR SEATBELTS-IN THE BACK SEAT TOO. If there is anyone out there willing to donate their time and materials to help this mother-daughter family make the adjustments to their home that will be required, in light of this tragedy, Please contact me at emurray_18@yahoo.com Please pray for all.

Although I didn't personally know anyone involved in the accident, I've seen all of these girls around school and have been deeply saddened by this tragedy. I hope you all have a fast recovery and go on to live happy, successful lives, from the bottom of my heart.

Let this be a reminder to all of us, especially the juniors and seniors in the high school who will be getting their licenses soon, or already have them. Always wear your seat belt, always follow the speed limit, know the conditions of the road you are driving on, pay close attention to those who are driving around you, etc. Listen to what you learn in drivers ed. Nobody wants to hear about their friends, siblings, neighbors, whoever, being in a tragic accident like this again.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of the girls (and their families) who were involved in this accident.

It am so sorry for all involved in this accident, and their families. Alivia is so precious and I hope somehow a miracle will be granted and she will dance once again.
