thinking about moving to williamsburg

hello,
my name is mathew fry and im thinking about moving to this town. my dad just moved up there. i was just wondering if you could give me some information about the town. i have two little children and would like to know if this area has good schools, activites for children...etc. how about any programs for young married couples since my wife is a very sociable person. just any information would help. thanks

Well, I just moved here and can tell you unequivocally, it is redneck heaven. The best thing about this area is the fact that it has lower land and home prices than neighboring ares, the South Callaway School is supposed to be a good one. If you na d your wife are looking for activities, then you'd want to look towards Columbia. Williamsburg is a place where people move to get away from it all without being too far away from it all.

It may be too late to weigh in on this, but be very careful about checking out the school in Williamsburg, MO (I assume you are talking about Missouri). This is a very small district with funding issues, and the building at that particular school has major problems that the district administrators have ignored for years. Last year, some people pulled their kids out of the school and sent them to a private school in nearby Fulton because of problems with bullies that was not addressed by the half-time principal.
