I wanted to thank you for the accurate reporting and fairness you have given to the flag issue on both sides from day 1.

I wasn't able to make the march because I had to work in King. Coming into work this morning at 8:45 and seeing the church buses and vans coming up the King exit from Hwy 52, hearing the roar of many many motorcycles, watching them all turning into the American Legion, the bumper to bumper traffic coming both ways through King to turn into the Calvary, the gospel radio station set up across the street from Calvary, etc. If you felt no emotion from all of that then I will pray for you because you need it. It sent chills down my spine and I wished more than anything I was walking with them. This is so much more than just a flag issue. So much more. God bless not just King, NC, but the entire world.

Being at the march today was so awesome. I'm glad my family and I could be a part of history in the making. Maybe this will get the word out that the 1st amendment says NOTHING about separating church from state. God Bless America!

I was at the rally today! It was so humbling to just have a little part in this march! Jesus died on the cross for me and I want the whole world to know that I love my Lord and I am not ashamed! The gentleman who filed a complaint concerning the flag doesn't realize what he has done. This issue has brought the people out who love our Lord! We are tired of our faith and our Lord being slurred against! It is time we take a stand! I am so very proud of everyone who has had anything to do with this issue! People may try to take our Lord out of their sight and out of America but they will never be able too! When you look at the green grass, the mountains, the sky, the ocean, and even your children he made all and everyone of them! People has tried since the beginning of time to take him out of everything but he is still Lord of Lords and King of Kings! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. All you need to do is believe Jesus died for you and rose from the dead, ask him to forgive you of your sins, and ask him to come into your heart and save you. It's that simple! Will you ask him to save you and come into your heart today? My prayer is that you will! I love my Lord and my Christian Flag and I will always support and stand behind them! America is a great country but I pray that our freedom is not taken away!

So you believe that the state SHOULD control the church? Interesting.

What kind of reverend are you pray tell? Not any kind that I've ever known. You are trying to provoke people. I've seen you on all the other threads and all I can say is the devil wears many clothes. It was a glorious day in Jesus name today in King, NC. Nothing you can say is going to take that away from the rally.

I ADMIT I am trying to provoke people, but ONLY to THOUGHT.

I am the kind of Reverend that believes that the Christian faith deserves the same treatment as every other religion.

No better, no worse. So, either they all get flags, or no one does.

That is the kind of Reverend I am.

My family and I were at the rally today and it was a blessing.Christians from different back grounds different ethnic groups all covered with the same perfect Blood of Jesus Christ. I will always remember today sowing seeds in peace asking God for the increase.Davidson County get ready for your soldiers, your family and your Christian back bone we will need our armour on as well.If you don't like the small town USA's thinking then leave. We know ever knee will bend and every tongue will confess He is Lord.

The reason for the separation of church and state is because the CHURCH would take over the state. If you were a real reverend, and not just some guy pretending to be, you would know that the romans came up with the idea in the first place. The pope at the time would choose the king for the land and the king would follow the rulings of the church in cases of war.

Rev. Jay, please understand that the story of O'Hair is one I share with everyone I know. She and her two "children" went missing. They think she was killed in Texas along with her family. Don't regret that but celebrate that fact. And they can't even find their bones. I'm happy that she was terminated! She was an abomination to the human world of sanity.

Kat, you are an inspiration, I'll have to say. In fact, I'll add your follow up to the blog post I just did on this.

Madeline wanted a school that didn't push religion down her children's throats, and you call her an abomination. WOW.

May you find peace.

Like I said. The devil wears many clothes. I know no man of God that would have just said that to anyone. I certainly would not want to be you standing before the throne of God when it's your time. There were many denominations of religion at Central Park today and I know you hate it, but everyone got along famously because they were united in prayer for Jesus Christ. End of story.

Kat, just curious. Do you claim to be a Christian?

If you would be so bold, can you tell us what fine, upstanding church you belong to?
