I would like to ask all to attend the next Town Council meeting to support the boardwalk vendor program. I don't think that the chamber should have control or business owners on the boardwalk has they say so. I understand they have invested in buildings and I agree that fees should be higher but this is FREE Business enterprise. Jay Jarvis has worked very hard last year to help this town on the boardwalk and just throw his plan aside is not business friendly I use to think the problem was in town hall but after watching I see where its coming from.
I ask all to attend meeting and wake this current town council up..
Lets get Colonial Beach moving in the right direction and not stay idle.
Your voice will help.

Hope businesses & citizens of Colonial Beach find out facts why this program would come under Chamber of Commerce. The land these vendors would be on belong to the town not the Chamber. At a glance it sounds like a personal agenda to prevent competition or free enterprise against existing businesses-- that is not business friendly! If there's more to this hope Chamber and TC can explain it with supporting facts.

Keep the chamber out of the boardwalk vending program. They are a non-profit and should be helping businesses, not competing with them.
