And by the way, the B Smith story did not start with a murder. It started with a young woman taking a man she did not know into her home! The story ENDED with molestation, murder, and kidnapping.

Most people know that pedophile killed B. Smith's mother and a pedophile probably stalked and then, in a psychotic breakdown, killed Jennifer Short and her family.

So if you don't like what's on here, then why don't you just stay the h*ll off this thread, instead of trying to tell others what to say?

Someone asked what happened. A pedophile and a murderer in the Smith case in 2010, was it? So glad the 12 year old survived.
A triple murderer in the Short case in 2002ndown near Martinsville, with even the little nine-year-old girl shot dead after being taken out of the home. He was after the little girl and probably thought he "loved" her like those sickos do. He probably thought he "had" to kill her since she could i.d. him or tell authorities where she had seen him or how she had known him. Can you imagine a man that sick and evil?
About the poster here who wants to shut down talk about any cases of harm to children, I agree with the one who said he must have issues. I agree. He probably is a closet pedophile or has come close to being accused and arrested, and he wants people to hush and be quiet.
