Easter Sunday Late Night Crash

Last minute stocking saves two employees from injuries and possible death In the evening hours of Easter Sunday just around 10:30 p.m. employees Melissa Hayden and Becky Richardson of the Colonial Beach Get-n-Zip were preparing to leave the store when Hayden suggested they stock paper towels before leaving. While in the supply closet they both heard a horrendous crash outside the store.

An unnamed male was driving east on state Route 205 toward the intersection of Colonial Avenue in a dark-colored 2007 Saturn.

Police estimate he was driving around 110 miles an hour around the curved area of Rt. 205 that is referred to as the Beach Gate.

I love it, the girls had to go next door and inform the police. Our finest sure do sleep good.
Thank goodness the girls are safe.
Chief Hawkins, what do you think about this. Why didnt the police on duty hear the crash. Are the enclosed in a fort.

The "unnamed male" must have been the Easter Bunny that wrecked in the Get n Zip parking lot! He was probably in a hurry to deliver more easter baskets. Too many cadberry eggs in his system I suppose.

Maybe the officers were not sitting in the office, maybe they were out on the streets. NOT sitting in the office. Could they have been all the way at the end of the point. Think before you type.I think Chief Hawkins would of been upset if they were sitting in the office, and heard the crash. You are an idiot.I bet you like to kick dogs also and hit your wife. and start crap for no reason! You got a problem with the PD go talk to them instead of starting crap on here. Really is time to grow up or shut up.
