For those that this type of thing appeals. Two of the three candidates will debate tonight, which can be seen on NBC @ 7:00 pm. Hopefully, we will hear more about their plans and less about their dislike for each other. For this voter, neither Mr. Cuccinelli nor Mr. McAuliffe is appealing. Mr. Cuccinelli while certainly qualified, is worrisome due to his habit of using the office he occupies to harass those of a different political stripe, as demonstrated by his lawsuit against UVC. Mr. McAuliffe’s view towards energy, expansion of Obamacare and big money is a disqualifier. That is why I support Robert Sarvis for Governor.

Robert Sarvis all the way. The democrat and republican both are bad for their parties and bad for VA.

Looking for more shut down.“I will not sign a budget in Virginia unless it includes the Medicaid expansion” Terry McAuliffe.

October 15th is the deadline to register to vote.

Both aren't very appealing (McAuliffe is too slick, Cuccinelli too conservative socially), the Libertarian has no chance, but all said, Terry wins in a landslide. You can't alienate women like the Att. Gen. has doen and expect to win. Not an endorsement, just a prediction.

“Cuccinelli is honest, but his views are obnoxious, and the Democrat is terrible-there are too many shenanigans.”“The candidates are absolute disgrace to American politics.” Emmett Graybill, 81, a retired political science professor and participant in a recent article that appeared in the Washington Post.

Got to say I agree with his observations. Virginia we can do better!

So Ken who has risen in office from the likes of Northern VA did so by starting a war on women. I dont think so. Plus having met his wife and family(daughters) they would seem to disagree also with that poliical attack from the Terry camp. Then again if you are Terry and never had held an office lets not talk qualifications, lets talk fake wars. Get real people.

He tried to get certain forms of birth control outlawed. He worked to make no fault divorce illegal. He tried to ban abortion, in all forms. He wanted to make it so children born in the USA, whose parents were immigrants, were not legal citizens.

He is against women's rights. I do not want him to be governor of my state as he has stated before he would continue to try and forward all the things he has tried before.

There is no question Cuccinelli social positions are consider extreme or that his big money opponent is any better. McAuliffe only claim to fame is he is a prolific fund raiser for the Democratic Party. Virginia is not some sort of a reward for his support of Mr. Clinton. His positions on Medicaid expansion will be ruinous for Virginia. There is only one candidate that will bring change to the political structure and that candidate is Sarvis. You could call him the clean hands candidate.

As I said, my statement wasn't an endorsement, just a prediction. Beach Goddess above makes a pretty good case against the Att. Gen.(Polls indicate anywhere between a 23-27 advantage for McAuliffe among women) I think both are extremely flawed and 3rd party candidates usually poll pretty well until the weeks leading up to election. I can see it as McAuliffe 50%, Cooch 47%, Sarvis 3%.(Similar numbers to 2005 when an independent ran)

You may be right with your prediction. If you keep doing what you have done, you are going to keep getting what you got. Women, my wife included, lean towards McAuliffe, or should I say not Cuccinelli. Both candidates are damaged goods and 3rd party candidates do not do well in Virginia.

The leader, Mr. McAuliffe, in this contest criticize Mr. Cuccinelli for not denouncing the government shutdown while promising to shut down the Virginia government over Medicaid expansion. Expanding Medicaid will be a disaster for all of us. If you want to have the foolishness that dominates Washington DC politics in Virginia’s government, by all means vote for Mr. McAuliffe.

I would have supported Mr. Bolling as the Republican candidate. I will not vote for Mr. Cuccinelli or Mr. McAuliffe and if that mean I fall into the three percentile, so be it.

It does not have to be this way. Support the best candidate for Governor, support Mr. Sarvis.

Its a shame 23 to 27 percent of the cooches will cost this state dearly. However, I guess that same percentages has been costing the state for a long time. The funny thing about abortions is you dont need one if you know how to control your cooch. I guess thats to much to ask, that someone actually be responsible in this day and age. So lets elect a bag man who has never even held office in the Lions Club and lets make him the Governor of our state because he likes killing babies! VA is going the way of MD, and MD sucks.

That is your opinion. If you think VA is going the way of MD, blame the GOP who has held the mansion the past 4 years, along with the Rebublican legislature since 1999.
