i have heard of situations where teresa davis was said to have been heavy-handed, but that is people talking and i cannot confirm any of these situations. there are many properties around the beach that need to have maintenance and repairs done and would be considered eye sores. i think mrs. davis's respone is relative to each situation and i don't see how anyone can pass judgement on the home owner, or mrs. davis, unless they are involved in the actual process. if you really want to find out what its like to approach a home owner and tell them you think they are doing a substandard job of maintaining their residence then ask to do a ride-along. maybe then you can see how difficult a job like that could be. i do not envy mrs. davis her position with the town. i would not want it. as for jennifer, she is a friend of mine and i have helped her on several occasions around her house and yard. dealing with grief and depression is a very difficult thing and unless you have been there you have no right to pass judgement because you can not understand it. have you offered to help her?? when you do that then you will be a person i would listen to. i am human and have opinions about persons and situations, but i know when to keep them to myself and when to speak up. have some compassion, see if you can be of assistance, and stop trashing people and hiding behind a handle on the net. grow a pair! to everyone out there, if you have a neighbor who seems to have trouble maintaining their residence, maybe you could offer them some help. many persons are to proud to accept, but at least you could try. my neighbors are great and are willing to help with hauling if needed.

i am also a good friend of jennifers. i've seen and been in her yard many times..both before and after tom passed. yes, i realize it's messy. but if any of you are offended by that then just don't look at it ! it's really none of anyones business what another does on their own property. i do feel that thoes of you who are all upset need to go get yourself a real life instead of rotting brain cells hanging around all these stupid social web sites.

The problem with property is Government doesn't recognise it as yours. It serves only as a source of revenue. You do not have the right to much of anything on your own property other than pay your levy and obey Government.
