this week i have decided to take a different direction to work, on my way i have noticed the cutest little dog sitting out in the heat, on my lunch break, he's out, after work, he is out, i have noticed a very small water dish, like a small butter bowl that at one time probably had cool water in it, no shade for this little dog but a darn ragged swing, no tree's heat beating right on him, his poor little tongue just hanging out, this is a shame and these people should be fined and cited for animal neglect or abuse.

I also saw this precious little dog and did report it to the humane shelter. So far NOTHING has been done. Maybe if enough people call something will get done. Please dont give up.

That is so sad. It is a just a shame that people mistreat animals this way. Besides the fact that is it a crime (which around here is ignored most of the time) it is just a low down and cruel thing to do. If you don't want to care for a pet then please don't have one!!! That simple. Wonder how that person would like to spend the day beside that poor dog.

you have got to be talking about that little dog on 7th street, between cotton and ferguson, chained out front, not one tree on the property, and your right, hes out all day long, i live around the corner and that dog is out everyday, i even knocked on the door a couple times and no one answers, i have brought water and put in his water bowl thats no bigger than a cup

you do know that stealing is against the law don't you? it's a very serious crime that i suggest you don't do.yes; i know that whats happeneing with this dog and many others is also a crime, maybe something will be done about this one and maybe the humane officer will try to make it out to speak with these people

I'll make sure that the Humane Society knows about it Monday morning. At least it has rained and is somewhat overcast so maybe it won't be so bad on the poor thing today.
