Is = DISOBEYING = THIS = COMMANDMENT = A = SIN?

If you hear anyone calling anyone else a Rabbi(other than Jesus) or referring to their self as a Rabbi(other than Jesus), are they committing a sin by disobeying this commandment of Jesus Christ?

Matthew, Chapter 23, 8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

True or False?

Old Testament (Judaism)
In Judaism a Rabbi (Hebrew) teaches the Torah.

The book of Matthew is in the New Testament (Christianity).

- So its kinda like apples and oranges .

This does not answer the question. This does not do anything.

"*[23:8–12] These verses, warning against the use of various titles, are addressed to the disciples alone. While only the title ‘Rabbi’ has been said to be used in addressing the scribes and Pharisees (Mt 23:7), the implication is that Father and ‘Master’ also were. The prohibition of these titles to the disciples suggests that their use was present in Matthew’s church. The Matthean Jesus forbids not only the titles but the spirit of superiority and pride that is shown by their acceptance."

Do you obey disobey this commandment?

Matthew, Chapter 23, 8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

A. Yes, I keep that commandment.

B. No, I do not keep that commandment.

Nor is that a commandment. Its one word youve taken out of context.

I am thinking that you also disobey this commandment.

1 Timothy, Chapter 2
11: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

The only thing that will be noted is...

You either obey it or don't.

I'd have to disagree. For it is not your word to alter.

To learn is better than not learning at all.(Another verse taken out of context? I can only assume ).
Maybe instead of me not learning , you would be better not to teach ( or the attempt thereof.

So if I am developmentally challenged you feel that gives you the right to verbally attack a stranger who has taken a few moments of their time to read this thread.
Hmmmm ,"Spirit of God" you say? Yeah, I and the others that take a brief glance at your Holy Spirit Filled Blessed by Gods' word will have to retink that statement for you because right now I/We arent so sure thats what truly makes you bold nor do I/we feel thats what youre filled with.
