I drove through town 2 weeks ago while visiting my family's graves on Belcher Mtn. The town is looking much nicer, I'm really impressed how ppl have pulled together to try and clean it up. I was more surpised about the Veteran's Memorial Bldg. I would really like to go inside. I saw they were having a wedding or reception there. What I thought was even more interesting was that the couple were on the tracks in front of the Bldg, in their wedding clothes, having their pictures made. It was sweet that they came back to their roots and had their pic's made in front of the trussel. It made me want to stop and watch.

I live close by-I know it's not a big booming town but we are proud of it and we are blessed people.Besides the stores that were mentioned here we also have a funeral home-a city hall that is just a few years old -a place on the street where they have gospel singing and some very nice churches, like the others said we have some good people here and if you would ever like some history on the town stop by Gianatoes store and speak to Mike or his brother, they have lived here all their lives and would be more than glad to answer any questions that you have. May you have a great evening.

I live in kimball...i have for about 10 years...i didnt want to move here at first but there are no regrets....we are a small town we keep to ourselves and dont worry bout what the other citys are doing as long as they dont bother us...we have no drama and no shooting...we are a great community and anyone would be more than lucky to be able to live where we do...and there are some great memories that have been held to remember forever including the memorial building...

I lived in Kimball and Carswell Hollow many years ago and always drive thru Kimball and Carswell Hollow each time I visit WV and Va. I also have connections in Big Four, my Dad was the pastor of Big Four Pentacostal Church in the late 50's. I knew a lots of kids there but have lost contact with them all but I still have plenty of good memories. Most moved away and I don't have any idea where the've moved. I still have family there but most live over in Virginia.

My mother took me to that church when I was about 10 years old. It scared me to death.. Mom loved it and was a Holy Roller, I became Orthodox.. My Great Grandpa was a Holiness Minister over in Amonota, Va.
