You can't get his ip address. You cannot prosecute anyone for anything posted on a forum. This is actually a good thing. If Texstar was able to find out who was posting what on these websites they would be able to sue over libel or defamation. This is all part of the The Communications Decency Act and it allows you to post whatever you want. The internet is the only place for true free speech. This employee is actually harmful to the company. Like it or not he paints texsar in a bad light. It is important that we are never able to prosecute people for what is said here. The internet is the only place in the world for free speech and free speech only benefits one group and that is the people.

We used Texstar to rent our house out. What a fiasco! They evicted people and we didn;'t even know. the renters trashed our house and the property managers didn't even take pictures for going after the money for the damage. They did come back with a disposible camera to take pictures. Insert eye roll here.

They charged outrageous prices, 450.00 to be exact, for somene to "clean" the house. It was "cleaned" so well that you could see hair beads, sunflower seed shells and I can't remember what else. I"d have to look at the pictures WE took. The renters broke the glass door on the oven, when we moved it there were old chicken nuggets, barretts and I think a pot holder or oven mitt as well as a fork and other miscellanious things under there.

We went to JAG and the lawyer said he wished he could represent us for free because hears so many horror stories about them. They tout being military friendly and I have yet to see anythign like that. We followed the contract to a T when it was up and they tried to say we owed them the fee they charge every month. Ummmm, our contract was up. We lost between 3000.00 and 5000.00 in damages and fees they owed us back.

Oh yea, the lawyer said he wished that every military member who has been done wrong by Texstar would go to housing and report it they would blackball him and he'd love to see that happen.

I moved in to my townhouse and it was dirty, just like the person just moved out. I wrote everything down then I let them know it was never cleaned. They said the locks were changed before the cleaners could come. So we stayed the entire lease period, cleaned and had the carpets cleaned. Inspector said it looked great! Its been two months no statement no deposit. I get the run around when I call. Yesterday they are telling me its mostly gone in fees, and cleaning. PLEASE NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! My neighbors water pipe exploded and she had a 3000 dollar water bill. She called them and they told her they didnt have the money to pay it to the city. She had to make payments to the water company, and they said they would knock off some rent. I HAVE TURNED THEM IN TO THE BBB, AND FORT HOOD HOUSING

I rented an apt for only FIVE weeks from Texastar. I left it cleaner than when I moved in. They managed scam me for my whole $500 deposit and sent me a bill for $35 I still owed!!!

I am a former Texstar Tenant.Moved out in April 2008.My husband had left for Iraq for the 3rd time.When I got my move stament I was chared for a reinspection and for some so called processing fees.I have no idea why we were chared for reinspection when I already had done the inspection.Anyway it's already July and I still haven't recieved my deposit.I have been calling their office and just to speak to the manager i was put on hold for almost an hour.I hung up and called again,still they put me on hold.Finally i speak to the manager,she tell's me that my check was sent out on the 3rd of June.I hvae been checking the mail and still no sign of my deposit check.She tells me to go to the post office and see if they have my check.Well the man at the post office tells me that if I've been getting my mail than I should have recieved my check by now.I call texstar and the manager tell's me that the only way I can get my money is to agree to pay $35.00 for them to reissue another check.I tell them Hell no I want my money now.If they said they sent out in the mail than I should have gotten that check.They won't give me my money unless I agree to pay that $35.00.And the manager hung up on me.They are soooooo rude and unprofessional.DO NOT RENT FROM TEXSTAR PROPERATIES.YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK...

I moved out on May 29th and I still have not received our deposit. They claim to have mailed it on June 28th, but I still haven't received it! Those people are a bunch of crooks and should be closed down.

Geena did you ever receive your check? They are telling me the same thing about having to stop payment on a check I have to pay the fee. Well I know damn well that they never sent out a check in the first place!

The girl on the phone told me they know the laws too, that they just have to issue the check, I never have to receive it. Nice!

I am meeting with a lawyer tomorrow about my security deposit. But honestly it is so much more than $800 to me. I want to do something so that this company cannot take advantage of Soldiers Families anymore! I will discuss options with the lawyer tomorrow but I am willing to contact news agencies and anyone who will listen. Something needs to be done, if there are more complaints than just mine it will be that much stronger please email me at [e-mail] maybe together we can do something to bring this horrible company down!
