Who in the City, Code enforcement or city leaders that are responsible for protecting the property owners of the property located next to Nauert Auto Parts. This property is an eye sore and has been for years. The grass and weeds are taller then allowed, a out building that is in deplorable condition is open for whoever wants to enter it. There is also a rather large brush pile in the front yard that has been there for at least three years. What will it take to get this eye sore fixed.

This has been brought up numerous times to the city.
Remember, Rodney Nauert ios a former mayor of Cove.
That should answer your question.

Retired first Sgt has hit the nail on the head.

Now who in the City seat of power is protecting this property and its owner from the very laws they are suppose to enforce.

If it really bothers you, I doubt anyone would stop you from fixing the area up.

The only way to fix that dump up is to bulldoze it. Unfortunately, I don't own a bulldozer.

Drove by this property today. The grass was cut and the brush and debris has been removed. The place is vastly improved, however the dilapidated buildings have not been secured and appear to be near collapse.

I just drove by said property and the leaning building has fallen down. Will our incompetent City government now declare this building dangerous and have it torn down.

It has been six months now since the building next to Nauert Auto Parts collapsed. Why have our code enforcement officers not required the property owner to clean up that property.

Maybe they need volunteers to clean the place up like they did on Sunset Ln.

Sure I would take it on if the City gets the demolition permit and provides the insurance, bucket loader and dump trucks to haul the debris off.

I've been gone a year and Code Enforcement has not gotten this property cleaned up yet. The lack of enforcement on this property says a lot about Cove's government leadership.

I urge citizens to drive by this property and take a look for yourself. I'm sure you would agree that the building is a dangerous structure and needs to be removed.

I complained about it in January and in the past. They said it would take awhile. It's been years. How much time do they need.
