Speaking of which, Purser had to step down from a vote because of her families Bentina properties. If that's the case then she needs to step down from council because of it. Same goes with Juan Riveras insurance scamming business he owns and how it co-relates towards our no smoking policy in restaurants. 9 times out of 10 when a no smoking law is passed it's because of the insurance lobbyists and or law makers that worked for the insurance industry. Gotta love these dirty corrupt killeen politicians.

Oh, and don't forget that KDH report also mentioned that Doranski another Centextalk forum member works for the IRS. The last person one would want is somebody that used to or still mingles with government money extortionists running a city seat.

I rent from Bentina Rentals and enjoy their small office staff. A friend of mine referred me to them. He told me they took care of him while in Iraq over the internet. He use to rent from them and I guess that is why. They did keep me informed on availability and it was clean to include the carpet when I got the keys. I did pay a application fee but it was taken off the first months rent. They do a background check which is good to know. I didn't know who actually owned the duplex but I am satisfied I made the right choice. Oh and they pest control my apartment and cut the grass for me. Seems like a nice place so far.

you're like the 8th post. between you and yourself bashing purser you have 6 posts of contempt.

i have seen her properties and could guess you probaby don't even know where they are located. give her a break. she hasn't done anything to you and you have no idea about her business ethic.

sounds like she has some tenants that feel they are taken care of and that is all that matters.

bentina rentals has got it going on and good for her. if i knew someone that needed a place to rent i would send them to bentina rentals.

I would not recommend bentina they control your sprinkler system and i have been dealing with a 300 dollar water bill since this summer when i call all they say is the owner added another watering day all the neighbors complain of the same issue with them.i dont think it is fair if you control the sprinkler pay the water bill. Such a disgrace

My rental company attempts to control the sprinkler system as well. My solution has become turning the breaker switch off to the sprinkler system in the garage, and only flip it on when I want to water.

I agree with the statements concerning Benita Rentals. I can't believe that this rental company rip off innocent renters. I too had a problem with their sprinkler system. Adding three days a week of watering the grass was ridiculous. Why should they care. They are not paying for it. Even during the summer with no rain, this company added an extra grass watering day, tremendously raising my water bill. I had no choice. I too had brought my water bill to their attention and was told that the owner added an extra day to keep the property looking good. I was told that I have to keep my turned on and the property will notify me when to turn it off, even after I returned the property's keys during my walk thru. until I receive the go ahead to turn off My final bills were high. I was told if I turn off my services, I will receive a bill and if I don't pay, It will go to collections. This company does not do right by its renters. Something has to be done to stop the injustice

Our tenants are informed in writing prior to signing the lease as to the expectations of yard maintenance. It is our responsibility to cut the grass and we also do pest control and A/C filter changes regularly.
It is against the agreed upon contract for a tenant to turn off the power or cut off water to our sprinkler systems as suggested.
Our rents are competitive and affordable. Our properties are well maintained and that is why they are attractive, in demand and currently with no vacancies.
No one is being ripped off if it is disclosed prior to the lease being signed and we certainly can't force someone to lease from us.
Other common issues with disgruntled tenants are undisclosed pets, move out cleaning, and damages. All of these issues are areas we try to work through with our tenants to keep our properties clean and well maintained inside and out.
