Ok we get it, you are more educated than everybody and whoever disagrees with your beliefs is an illiterate dropout. What are you going to do if Obama doesn't win a second term? Blame Bush? Blame all of us inbred Republicans that have no education and live in trailer parks? Right.
I do have a serious question; If you are so intellectual, educated and wonderful why do you feel the need to be rude to people on Topix constantly? You seem to be very sad inside. Also, what is with all the LMAOs and LOLs, are you a teenage girl?
No, I'll probably rub you stupidazzed noses in it if Obama loses and Romney's plans to fk the middle class to the point that they'll never get up. Teabaggers will be the first to whine and cry about getting gubbamint assistance. Most teabaggers sucking off the gubbamints teat already.

Only way to get thru to a teabagger is to kinda hurt their feelings a bit and try to get a fact in their brain sideways if possible. I'm just tired of stupid people and am trying my best to have stupid people not be in a position of power. Actually, I'm quite happy and definitely NOT a teenage girl. Since you're a republican, I'm quite sure you're quite into teenage girls! You seem to be more interested in me possibly hurting your feelings rather than the issues that face us.

there is alot of pill heads on this beach. willing to break into most anything to go buy pills or herion...there is no real gang memebers down here just young kids acting like they on some gang stuff when in reality they were brought up in real nice houses some fake stuff to me and the brew thru got robbed in nags head? you gotta be kidding me i heard they had shot guns now thats some real deal stuff when you gettting robbed at gun point...thats got to be some inside work...
I happen to be interviewed and spoke with one of the detectives on a large drug bust in the Harbour this past summer. I was told by the police that Infact there are now actual "bloods and crypts" gang members on the beach( evidently mostly out of Manteo at first) but who were dealing out of Colington. The detective told me that there were so many drugs in the house the drug dogs didn't know which direction to go in first. Evidently the gangs are able to get almost double for the drugs they sell here on the beach than they were getting in Elizabeth City. Aside from the large amounts of drugs there were also weapons found. I wish I could believe that Dare county was still a gang free place to live. But unfortunately I now know different.

You stupid, clueless, inbred retard. The Civil War ended 147 yrs ago. The South LOST!! Get over it already! Yeah, fightin' for the right to own slaves is a good thing...right? Ask anyone around here as to why they won't hire the locals. Its no secrete! They're fkng lazy and stupid! This place went to krap 500 yrs ago when the English came over here and stole the land and murdered/slaughtered the "locals"! Did you even attend a history class?
"Yeah, fightin' for the right to own slaves is a good thing...right?"
If you think the civil war was fought for the right to own slaves you need an additional history lesson. I don't doubt you attended a history class, just one that was written by the victors of that internal struggle. And while you're at it, look into what Abraham Lincoln REALLY thought of the african slaves. hint: Monrovia.

So are you saying that the civil war was NOT about the "right to own slaves"? Really?! Well then here is another history lesson for you.

Southerners in 1861 were fairly certain the war was about slavery. Alexander Stephens, the CONFEDERACY'S VICE PRESIDENT, said the following in his famous Cornerstone speech in March 1861, just weeks before the war started:

"The new constitution has put at rest, forever, all the agitating questions relating to our peculiar institution African slavery as it exists amongst us the proper status of the negro in our form of civilization. This was the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution.

Jefferson in his forecast, had anticipated this, as the "rock upon which the old Union would split." He was right. What was conjecture with him, is now a realized fact. But whether he fully comprehended the great truth upon which that rock stood and stands, may be doubted. The prevailing ideas entertained by him and most of the leading statesmen at the time of the formation of the old constitution, were that the enslavement of the African was in violation of the laws of nature; that it was wrong in principle, socially, morally, and politically. It was an evil they knew not well how to deal with, but the general opinion of the men of that day was that, somehow or other in the order of Providence, the institution would be evanescent and pass away. This idea, though not incorporated in the constitution, was the prevailing idea at that time. The constitution, it is true, secured every essential guarantee to the institution while it should last, and hence no argument can be justly urged against the constitutional guarantees thus secured, because of the common sentiment of the day. Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of the equality of races. This was an error. It was a sandy foundation, and the government built upon it fell when the "storm came and the wind blew."

Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its corner- stone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery subordination to the superior race is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth. This truth has been slow in the process of its development, like all other truths in the various departments of science. It has been so even amongst us..."

So much for that "not about slavery but about state's rights" argument.
