I miss Footsball Palace

I was just reminiscing over the warm ocean breezes and the cold concrete floors. And just the over all atmosphere of the Outer Banks of Days gone by. I loved that place............

The most horrible place on the face of the earth! Thank God that place is gone! A place where for a BJ you could score some beer if you were under age! What a scanky little place! It's equal to Avalon Pier! Oh wait the Dirty Old Seto's too!

I miss it too! We could get buzzed on cold Buds and dance our asses off, sweat up a storm and them go outside and perch on the wall to cool off next to the ocean. Then drive home sober cuz all the dancing. Used to be a wonderful time. Yucky inside--yes, very much! But fun--no comparison. Those were definitely the days.

I loved that place too!! Hot girls, good music, awesome games, a good bar. Despite how old the inside once, overall it was an awesome place to hang out..and why did they close Dowdy's as well? It seems like they stripped all the entertainment spots from the OBX!!:(

I miss Dowdy's and the old waterslide place - what awesome childhood memories of those places! Going to the bakery in the morning, spending all day long on the beach with our family, 8 people in a tiny home with an outside shower, and going out to dinner at the Wharf and Evans Crabhouse! Man.... those were the days!

No doubt it is nice place where infinite ocean waiting for us. A place where with deep silent we can find something that is lost in us.
I love to do deep water dive and there I found myself. A speaking silent tells me where i am and where i am going...I miss a lot that days and my sea.
