Longview sales tax revenues drop again
Longview sales tax revenues for the first half of the budget year have plunged more than 14 percent below 2009, representing a decline of more than $2.23 million in income.

With the school bond passing and taxes taking a huge hike, people can't spend as they normally do. They don't have the money. But people that rent or live in gov't housing get to vote, even if it doesn't affect them. Keep taxes low so we can spend and help out our local economy.
