The whole article is ridiculous. We break up citizen families when someone breaks the law and goes to jail. These people can take their family with them. And who cares if they are afraid to seek medical help or report crime? I certainly don't! Go back to your own country and you won't be here to be afraid. They come here in defiance of our immigration laws, knowing they could be deported, and if they don't like "being afraid" they can go back home and not be afraid.

The guy who lost his car? Too bad, so sad. He shouldn't have been here driving in the first place.

Lastly, any normal person would not care if, during the course of an investigation, they were asked for their papers to prove they are either citizens or legally here. Only people with something to hide or who are criminally minded would find it distasteful...or people who are just looking for a lawsuit because that's "the American way" (free money).

Get over it -- go home or risk deportation.

Illegals should leave a note that stays on the fridge for their kids. It should say - "If I don't come home today, it means your mom and dad got caught breaking the law and we are in jail" send money! Cities could make a ton of their money back.

Hey, maybe all Americans should break whatever laws here they want too, march in the streets in protest that we feel biased against bc we're being hunted by law enforcement and we should lobby Congress for our kids to get free stuff that ONLY the illegal aliens pay for! Wouldn't that be grand?

Oh and don't want to pay your taxes? Simple. Don't. Go get one of those ITINs and declare more dependents than you actually have, fudge the numbers A LOT, get paid in cash or better yet, steal an amnestied illegal's ID and stiff them with the consequences.

And, by all means, feel free to drive drunk, kill, rape, molest, assault and injure as many illegals as you want for surely they have no right to complain, their stories will never see the light of day in the news and if they do, media will surely disguise who we really are with some PC language and their victims won't be missed, at least not by us, right.

Need to go to the hospital bc you or your child has a runny nose, a cough, a fever, feeling sick all over? No worries. Simply convince yourself that this pesky medical bill is not yours to pay and tell that lady with a clipboard that you're here illegally and POOF!.... bye, bye goes that hospital bill and you get free top notch medical care in the best hospitals in the WORLD! But if you're not quite comfortable saying you're an illegal, then by all means feel free to use an amnestied illegal's ID bc we all know karma is a bitch and they have it coming to them anyway. Anyone know exactly who these 3 million are that were amnestied in the 1986 Shamnesty? Maybe we can get a list with a Freedom of Information Act request and freely distribute it for personal use.

Living one family to a home and paying the proper taxes? Silly you! You should be packing at least 3-4 more families in there and really save yourself some serious bucks! Don't worry about the neighbors getting pissed off bc property values drop when your house is littered with garbage, cars parked on lawns, music blaring to all hours of the night, kids screaming. It's your house and you can do whatever you want. So, go ahead, cheat on taxes, ruin the neighborhood, pack as many kids that 3-4 families can produce into the schools and don't forget to apply for welfare and claim all fathers absent while using an amnestied illegal's ID. This way, you can buy more properties with the monies saved or open a new business or buy that new car, boat or vacation bc you're an "honest, hardworking human being".

Sound good? Sounds good to me too so long as I don't grow a conscience. And, illegals wonder why we're so pissed off and why we hate what they do.

Many people saw this could happen and didn't want Catholics in the country. They were far thinking patriots. I only wish that greed had not taken over American business over hundred years. America would not have the problems cause by Catholics!!!!!!!

Our home isn't such a "lovely" place anymore either.

All the more reason they should stay and fight for what they want there. Oh and I don't care that their home country is in ruins. It didn't get that way overnight and THEY LET IT get to such a state. Fix what you break, coming here and looting Americans is not the solution.

Well, then, I guess it's about time they did what our ancestors did and grow a set -- stand up to their governments and fight for what they want...to make things better for themselves and future generations. Or, they can stay there and have status quo.

And excuses they have...
The rule of law shouldn't be enforced because illegals might be afraid to report crimes.
Illegals can't be punished because they have U.S. citizen children.
Illegals can't be deported because we'd be tearing families apart.
Illegal children should be able to go to college because they shouldn't pay for the sins of their parents.
Illegals shouldn't be stopped by the police because it would be racial profiling.
Illegals should receive free healthcare or it will end up costing us more in the long run.
Illegals need drivers license so they can continue breaking the law to get to their illegal jobs.
The list goes on and on.

The Catholic Church has lured illegals in to increase their membership and take their money.
But nothing with illegals comes without a price.
Notice how many are horded up in the churches for protection against deportation?
The church members end up having to house them, feed them, buy diapers and provide a safe haven from ICE.
Illegals always end up taking more than they give.
You'd think the Catholic Church would of figured it out by now.
I guess they're like Obama and those idiots in Washington, huh?
