Corporations do not PAY taxes; they COLLECT taxes from those to whom they pass those costs on to. In business friendly countries, they don't have so much of these tax based costs to pass along, hence their goods and services are cheaper and they do more business.
Still drinking too much of the Republican Tea! The corporate taxes may be high, but through loopholes and tax shelters, nnon of them actually pay the 35%+ corporate taxes. Hell, I payed more in taxes than companies like General Electric, which payed a whopping 0.00% in taxes last year. You even point out in your tea induced rant: "Corporations do not PAY taxes." You sure got that part right! Since Corporations as you say " do not PAY taxes," then your argument about our U.S. Corporations paying the highest taxes on the planet is pure bullshyte! They may have to deduct employment taxes from the working stiffs pay and pass that along to the Government. But the Corporation itself can take advantage of S-corporation tax loopholes, offshore tax shelters, and accounting manipulations to avoid paying any taxes.

I can see why the Chamber and the Republican Tea Party recruited you for their propaganda efforts. You fit the low intelligence requirement perfectly!

So, Buckwheat, do YOU have ANY experience in the REAL world of profit, risk and loss, eh?

Have YOU ever had to make a payroll for YOUR employees?

No?

Hardly a surprise given your wet behind the ears, infantile myths about the EEEEEEEEEEVIL corporations you would love to despise .... would love to except for the fact that you are immersed in the highest standard of living in the history of Man thanks to the corporate goods and services that you seem to believe you are ENTITLED to, you grossly self centered HYPOCRITE.

Aiona's policies will significantly reduce the cost of living here in Hawaii, help small businesses create more jobs and lower taxes.

The problem is...we've still got a legislature that's chock full of taxmongering Democrat Nazis who will continue to rip us off and force feed their crazy ass agenda on us.

We need to oust and replace the legislature and elect a Republican governor...This is when Hawaii will become a TRUE paradise.

VOTE AIONA/FINNEGAN because Hawaii deserves better!!

Dude we had 8 years of the Republican BS. Aiona's boss screwed up his chances of becoming governor. Tea party is for mainlanders and does not work here in Hawaii. Republicans want to continue screwing the middle class and want to keep the poor as poor as they can. Big tax breakes for the wealthy have to be eliminated.I want a local boy to succeed but he is behind the eight ball because he is a republican. Your 9,000 comments have hurt Duke campaign because many despise your profanity and namecalling. STOP becoming a deterrent to Dukes chances at winning your screrwing him up with your obnoxious Mainlander attitude and commenting.

As a matter of fact, I do, Retard... But WTF does that have to do with it anyway? Are you saying that if I'm not some big corporation trying to make payroll, I can't possibly understand why I pay more in U.S. taxes than huge corporations like General Electric. And have you got anything else besides insults to back up your baseless rants? Apparently you cannot argue based on facts, so you attempt to discredit my reputation instead. Typical 2010 Rethuglican Tea party tactic. Apparently the Republican tea and whining about high corporate taxes isn't selling as more and more Americans wake up to the snake oil bullshyte you and your corporate funded masters are selling.

BTW - You should talk about being grossly self centered, as you are certainly the expert in that department.

We need someone, like Abercrombie, with experience to lead our state out of this recession. Aiona's only experience has been sitting back collecting a paycheck for the past eight years. He's been Lingle's shadow, who sat by while our teachers were furloughed, our private sector jobs went away, and the DHS tried to cut off the neighbor islands from Federal aid programs by closing neighbor island offices.

The only experience Abercrombie has is being a corrupt Washington insider for decades..one who has continuously voted yea to higher taxes, bigger government bureacracy, out of control government spending...he's the typical Progessive liberal who policies will bankrupt Hawaii....whereas Aiona, Hawaii's one and only REAL native son, will continue Lingle's policies of helping Hawaii's small businesses create jobs, lower taxes, fees and assessments, lessen wasteful government spending which means more money in our pockets for ourselves and our families!

VOTE AIONA/FINNEGAN FOR REAL CHANGE...REAL LEADERSHIP BECAUSE HAWAII DESERVES BETTER!!

More drivel from this Republican Tea party topix troll whose Anti-Obama Agenda is well known. This troll throws out accusations about corrupt politician, but fails to provide any facts to back up his/her/it's slanderous claims. BTW - Has Aiona showed his birth certificate? Just because he has a tan, doesn't mean he was bron here. Obama was born and raised out here. Was Aiona???

Let's end Lingle's failed policies and end Aiona's lackluster political career. Just because he's had the backup quarterback job for the last 8 years, that doesn't mean he's ready to stop working on his tan and come out to lead our state team to victory. Elect a proven leader in Abercrombie this fall! Elect someone who gets things done like Abercrombie, instead of someone whose stayed in Lingle's shadow working on his tan for the last eight years collecting a state worker paycheck.

When the decades long Washington insider, Abercrombie, says he's the "candidate of change" dont you just want to crack up laughing??

Being a major player in this corrupt 50 year Democrat regime is NOT a candidate of change..he's the candidate of the STATUS QUO...the same ole 50 year failed policies.

The only REAL candidates of change are the two Hawaii born candidates Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegann..they know Hawaii they know our people!!

I find it funny that this brainwashed Republican Tea drinking troll keeps touting Lingle successes. Which one of those successes of Lingle's should we continue by electing Aiona?

Her success at growing more government jobs at a time when Hawaii was hemorhagging private jobs in the tens of thousands? What was it the troll Infidel was saying about Big Government. As may of us in the private sector were forced to work two jobs to make ends meet and join the ranks of the unemployed, Lingle was growing the State Government payroll. And early on in Aiona's campaign, at a time when the state was facing massive budget deficits, Aiona expressed a reluctance to even consider reducing state positions or looking at our blated state payroll. Instead, Aiona chose to defend Lingle's cuts in social services and social services. Really? Is that a Lingle success we want to continue: The success at growing BIG GOVERNMENT!

How about the Superferry??? Another one of Lingle's successes at trying to skirt the Environmental Impact process to benefit a single business. Is that another success we want to continue by electing Aiona? The Republican administration's skirting of environmental protection laws to benefit big business!!!

What about Lingle's success in social service programs??? Specifically, her administration's plan to "consolidate" service to a regional service center on Oahu & the Big island, thereby cutting off those who live on Maui & Kauai from social services, unless they have internet access or a fax machine. Funny how the DHS had no computers, telephones, personnel, or equipment to handle such a change!!! And I won't even go into the statistics about how fewer needy people are receiving government assistance under her administration due to backlogs in processing, red tape, and inept staff. Do we realy want Aiona and get more of the same?

How about them furlough Fridays and crappy educational test scores? Do we want four more years of that as well?

Aiona represents four more years of Lingle Administration failures. Elect a Leader like Neil Abercrombie who will move Hawaii forward, and not Aiona, who will lead us down four more years of failed Lingle policies!!!

And now, from the home office in Kalepa, Hawaii:

Today's Top Ten Aiona accomplishment's in political office:

#1: His tan!
#2: Collecting a state paycheck!
#3: Defending the failed policies of the Lingle Administration.
#4:???
#5:???

Sorry, like most Hawaii residents, we couldn't come up with ten! We had to struggle to come up with three. And to think this inexperienced newbie is seriously being considered to lead this state?

More desperate lies and propaganda by the kool aid drinkin Hawaii liberal sheeple.

You just contradicted yourself you accused Lingle of growing the government and then on the other side of your face you whine because she cut Socialistic entitlement programs. The businesses in Hawaii are going bankrupt because of the failed policies of this 50 year Democrat regime. Its a FACT Hawaii has a reputation of being hostile towards businesses especially those that are just starting out and especially if they are non union Republican backed businesses, businesses here are heavily taxed and heavily regulated they can barely stay afloat which is why many of them have already closed their doors. Lingle can only do so much when she's dealing with a Democrat controlled legislature..the party of NO.

This powerhungry regime has gotten so used to being in power they're going apeshit bonkers because the RNC is pouring money into the campaign ads. Hanabusa was whining about this a few days ago saying she's never seen anything like it. HA-HA-HA.

Your days in office are numbered Democrats not only here but throughout the entire country.

BUHBYE LOSERS AMERICA REJECTS YOUR FAILED POLICIES!!!

All's the furloughs did was force some parents to look at their kids' faces instead of shipping them out for public-funded babysitting. You all act like your precious widdle babies were tortured to death, LOL. If having a shorter school year hurts your kid's future, then you must be a retard too. I have many kids in school, and we enjoyed last year together. Bring on the furloughs! We want to take a trip!

Home school or private school is the best answer. Public school funding is just a "cash cow" for the union leaders and the Democrat party..the kids dont learn anything and our statistics prove it!

Bring on the audits ...show us the money!!!

Sheeple, the Hawaii public school system has been crappy long before Lingle came along. This has been a Democrat run state for the past 50 years so to compare Lingle's 8 years to your party's 50 years in power is laughable.

The private sector has been forced to lay off hundreds of it's workers, everyone needs to sacrifice to get this economy back on its feet and that includes lazy overpaid government workers too.

Like your President says as he's on the golf course: Everyone needs to sacrifice.

FORE!!!!!
