Cumberland Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Wife

Investigators in Allegany County have charged a Cumberland man in the fatal stabbing of his wife.

What a putz. Hasn't he been around long enough to know that they always start with those closest to the victim and work their way out? For women, it's almost always the husband or boyfriend who is responsible.

Cory deserves to rot in hell for what he has done! Not only is it bad enough that he killed his wife, but they have 2 children that now have to suffer needlessly! The story is that the kids were home when this happend! What an evil, evil person!

EXTRA-MARITAL AFFAIR...Is what is reported...HE HAS ABUSED HER FOR YEARS AND SHE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH. All she was doing was talking to another man...So he executed her when she asked for a divorce...put him in jail and let someone inflict him with the same pain...why is there even any bail...are the judges in Cumberland retarded???

This case will be about the poor school teacher and his cheating wife...SHE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE MURDERED...NOW THERE ARE THREATS AGAINST HER FRIEND....and he may get out on bail to do it again with nothing to lose!!!

I know Corey Yantz he was a teacher of mine. And I can say I never would of belived he would do something like this! I think there was alot going on for him and he couldn't take it any more with things. But do I think his wife was cheating on him (yes) but I do think Yantz was doing the same thing! But she didn't need to die!! I have seen their sons and I can say they look just like him! I am sorry boys for your lose!!!!

First of all the two sons were not home at the time. The one is suspected to have returned home in the middle of it. Trust me on this. Ans as far as the two sons looking just like him, wrong, the two boys were adopted by him. They were her biological kids. Cory is light skin with red hair and the boys are dark hair and darker skin. I am very close to this family, might even be a relative. He is an evil person and GOD will punish him for what he has done.

this guys is a fruit cake, i have seen him out before, i really thought he was mentally retarded, and was laughing at him when my 13 year old said he was her 6th grade teacher, i almost crapped my pants, so i wasn't surprised that he was this crazy.

Sometimes comments should be left inside your sick mind. I can not fathom actually knowing someone who thinks the way you think. I can tell you are a man! "Must of liked it"? No one likes. Tonya was a beautiful person its sad to read some of these comments! What happened to her was unbelievable and heartbreaking.I wake each day missing her and wishing she was still here she was such a great mother and friend. I wish those that have unfairly judge her only had the chance to know her. And yes Coreys day will come for his judgement so let the Good Lord above do the judging.

you are very very wrong. they were his..the oldest was named after him. none of the kids returned home during any part of this because it was a school day and they were both in school. cory came him during lunch and did it then went back after school and called police. i know because i'm his next door neighbor..i lived right next to him on fayette street.

i see your from NC. so how do you know what us "mountain people" are like...cumberland is not full of crackheads and drunks...cumberland is mostly populated by old, retired people. so hunny, please get your facts straight.
