Does anyone remember what a yield sign is? The RT-35 traffic is supposed to yield to the RT-36 traffic. Yet people rarely do.

If people would learn how to drive , I've been doing this ride for the last 30 years , and if the idiots coming up Rt.36 weren't flying there would be no problems. If you watch what goes on , you can see as one car goes from Rt .36 then the next car goes from Rt.35 I like to call it Jersey Driving, most of the accidents involve either the old, out of state or the young teen,(usually female)just saying!

Sorry Jacked, but after your 30 years of driving, you still fail to understand what a yield sign is. The so called "idiots on Rt36" have the right of way. "Jersey Driving"? Your the problem. Look up the definition of the word yield in wikipedia. Maybe that will help you understand better.

If the traffic from 35 doesn't keek moving - it will back up and cause accidents on 35. The whole interchange needs to be redesigned. such as two continous lanes.

I agree Greg. The whole interchange does need to be redesigned. Needless to say, it's not changed yet. So until it does change, drivers need to obey the yield sign.

I agree. It has to be redesigned. I must add that people today seem to be unaware as to what a yield sign is. Yield signs are not obeyed anywhere.

Rt 36 does have right away , but what I really mean is the morning commute mostly. Sometimes people here coming from the 35 side sit there and wait and wait and wait then the cars back up out unto the bridge heading north. If you do this trip on the daily most cars flow right in with the traffic , as its pretty smooth , like poetry in motion. A lot of accidents occur because the cars that don't flow right in and then people get frustrated go around that car at Yield Sign and shoot right out into cars coming from 36. Another case is the car that starts to creep out as if they are about to flow into traffic comes to an abrupt stop and gets rear ended by car behind them.....this happens weekly if not daily.
