Who are we to judge? You can't debate morality because my morals and different from yours, as it is a subjective concept. Andy Williams may have been a great public official because of his experiences. Look how many public officials have been caught doing "immoral" things.

Give it up, folks. He's no worse than any of us. And, I happen to like him. He's warm, friendly, and very bright.

I happened upon these blogs by accident. I realize it's easy to pass judgment, but that's not what Jesus would do is it? There are many things about Andy I know that none of you could, would or should. I've known Andy since Jr. High School and we have been friends for 30 years. The Andy of today is troubled and obviously needs serious help. Don't be too quick to judge someone when they are vulnerable and under the influence. Their decision making and choices are usually not representative of who they truly are or want to be. These people need our help. They are crying out for help in numerous ways, but often we don't hear them. I could write a biography of the life of George A. Williams (a.k.a. Andy Williams), and his story would make most of you eat your words. Someone in his current fragile state should not be running or winning public office positions, I agree. In a clear frame of mind off drugs and away from Key West where his structured life was lost he was well respected and a very productive individual making a difference in many people's lives. The Andy I know would give his last shirt off his back to the homeless ... his last piece of bread. My prayers to him for a healty recovery so he can soon again make better choices so as to not negatively hurt or compromise his or any one else's safety.
