Doing family ancestry research and would appreciate any information about Fred "Fritz" Wehausen, died 1930, was married to Katherine "Kate" Schmelzer/Schmelzle, died 1940. Any information about their families, siblings, parents would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'll try to find this for you. One of the Wehausen's in California put together a detailed family tree and printed everything out.

There seem to be a lot more Wehausen's on the internet than a few years ago.

Contact me at ernstw@ameritech.net. I'm not sure I can find this post later. At work and found it by accident.

I believe that I might have some information on this family, I believe Fritz was the son of Hermann Wehausen, born 1820 who was a brickmaker in Manitowoc, WI. I would kill to get a copy of the Wehausen book. Nobody seems to have it available for purchase or Library Loan.

See the previous post by Ernst. I gave it to his daughter a few years ago. Hopefully she still has it.
