CAMBRIDGE — A Toulon teen charged with reckless homicide in the Nov. 29 deaths of three Stark County teens waived a jury trial Thursday in Henry County Circuit Court.

Morgan Blakey, 19, was charged March 1 with Class 2 felony aggravated driving under the influence and Class 3 felony reckless homicide for the accident near Kewanee that killed Levi Berg, 16, and Kelsey Clifford, 15, both of Toulon, and Bradley Wood Jr., 18, of Wyoming, Ill.

Mr. Blakey said he is now on anti-seizure medication, but it does not affect his ability to understand what anybody says to him.

Defense attorney Doug Scovil said he needs to coordinate schedules with doctors and videographers.

A July 11 date was set for scheduling purposes.
